  1. I think they beat Mizzou in Columbia in 2021. Also Colorado earlier that year. They’ve beat Arky but those were at Jerry’s World. No road or conference road wins in 2022 or 2023.
  2. I love it. I think it holds up well.
  3. Wow!!! I’ll never understand the eagerness of schools to throw tens of millions of dollars of contract extensions at coaches with 2+ years left on their contract, at the very first modicum of success. We’ve done it too. No one was trying to steal BV away. And I don’t buy the idea that kids will be less likely to commit to a school where a coach with a mediocre track record doesn’t’t have a long term contract. They want NIL and they want to win. A place holder coach’s financial stability is not their concern.
  4. He’s god a great job no? Too much to lose to have leaked this intentionally.
  5. I love that they’ve built this narrative in their heads that leaving the Big XII and Texas’s shadow, they were leaving a bad relationship where they were stifled and kept from achieving their rightful place at the table of football blue bloods. Their 10 year head start in the SEC would have them as a co-leader of the conference along with Alabama and Georgia and when Texas joined we’d be the outcasts and ne’er do wells, treated as lesser than by everyone else. Standing outside in the rain as everyone else parties.
  6. IIRC Taaffe made a possibly TD saving tackle. RB got through the line and hurdle over Taaffe who reached out and got enough of his legs to get him to the ground. He had a lot of green in front of him if not for that tackle.
  7. That lamp is pretty fly
  8. They’d corner the market. You could call it “Pacific Coast Conference after dark”.

Choice is the man. Love it.
  11. Ewers TD song: You’ll get chills when the flute kicks in.

    Gunnar Helm

Was he a Herman recruit that stayed on when Sark was hired?
  13. Good luck recruiting told flight punters on this team. Great job Sark.
  14. Says CW grew “steadily more comfortable as the game wore on.” Didn’t he play for barely more than a half of football throwing for 125 yards against McNeese? If McNeese causes you discomfort, it’s gonna be a rough year.
  15. Fucking LOL. If there was ever a definition of “damned by faint praise,” that’s it. His assessment of Texas’ good points was tempered with the caveat of “we have to consider the quality of the opponent,” a Big 10 program coming off a national championship. Then goes on to say how much we learned about Aggy after playing FCS opponent McNeese State. Calls the Texas OL and DL as “soft” and praise aggy lines after playing McNeese. Lol. Calls Texas “probably” a top 15 team. Gee thanks Who actually reads this shit for anything more than a laugh?

I love that you can rotate these guys and there’s very little dropoff. All of these guys are fast enough to run outside, all of these guys fight for yards and move the chains.
  17. I met Lester “the molester” in a Safeway in the East Bay a few years ago. He was signing autographs for charity. Nice guy.
  18. That looks downright opulent . User name checks out. I’ve stayed in some real shitholes to watch Texas football on the road.
  19. Also returned a kick for 20 yards
  20. Hell yah DMO!!! Dude went through a lot in his career to get to this point. I was afraid he’d be seen as too much of a tweener to stay in the league long term. Thats a great stat line.
  21. Man, if you are taking on a triple team, you are doing your job and then some.
  22. Quinn was cool about it. Maybe non conference opponents don’t realize how it’s used as ultimate disrespect and hatred from OU and others. In any event, Quinn spanked his team hard.
  23. You mean respect, accolades and ranking isn’t thrown at you after beating McNeese the week after losing (at home) to a team that lost to a directional school? Aggy must be fighting that BOMC.
  24. This is exactly the right answer
  25. I guess Steelers defense might be really good. For sure Watts is but the Atlanta offense looks lost. No rhythm, no identity. Please trade Bijan.
