  1. Aside from the Comey letter, I’d argue his “you’d be in jail” comment to Hillary during one of the debates was the single biggest moment in the 2016 election cycle. It tickled the same emotions as a walk off home run for any person who had spent the last few decades being told to hate Hillary. Luckily I don’t think he’s sharp enough to replicate that this go-round.
  2. Genuinely believe you will be able to accurately forecast the election in 24 hours. Anything other than a clear win for Kamala tonight will set in motion the path for another Trump victory. The good thing is I think she has it in her, but she can’t let Trump turn it into another “are these really the two best options we have?” event.
  3. This is really the perfect post to illustrate what everyone is saying. Performative outrage and purity tests are more important than actually getting shit done. Instead of recognizing the benefits to having someone like AOC enter the inner circle of the Democratic Party, she is vilified for daring to find common ground with those closer to the center. When words are more important than progress (lol “progress”ives), then you become extremely susceptible to sources who tell you what you want to hear. It’s how you accidentally end up linking posts to RT without realizing it.
  4. The far right possess inherently evil beliefs. The far left possess a belief system that makes them susceptible to become useful idiots to bad actors. Both are intense threats to the future of this country.
  5. Yesterday: Kamala losing the popular vote Today: Kamala winning NC by 3 This really is an election where you can frame it however the fuck you want.
  6. "reports now show" doing an incredible amount of heavy lifting in that sentence (but yeah, some wild stuff going around MAGA twitter right now).
  7. Oh absolutely. It was just jarring to read that breakdown by Gerry and see zero five starts. But you are correct, they will get there.
  8. Very unfortunate that on3 currently only has 15 5-stars, considering we have prospects #16, 20, 21, and 22.
  9. The image of a College Station cop pulling up the aggy football website on his phone while questioning TJ is killing me.
  10. She's a 51 year old country singer that hasn't been relevant in a decade and a half. So, yeah, of course she's MAGA.
  11. I guarantee that any casual fan tuning into our games has no idea our RB room has been decimated, which has to be the greatest compliment a position coach can receive. Take a bow, Tashard.
  12. Everything you said is correct, but I cannot get over the fact that we have a system where the LEADER OF OUR COUNTRY might be determined by how many people in a handful of states decide to vote for a guy who has said he no longer is running for President. An indictment on both the system and the citizens of this country.
  13. Lovett is easily the most famous person they've had on a while, but curious if it's the type of fame where people stranded on an island would even recognize him (or if it would have any impact at all if they did.)
  14. Seems obvious to me at this point that this Nate Silver stuff is intentional, and “but Nate Silver’s polls said!!” will be cited as a key piece of evidence of election impropriety when Kamala wins.
  15. Fuck that. Purchasing a gun should come with the implied agreement that it will not come into anyone else’s hands. If you are worried that you cannot hold up this end of the bargain, then you shouldn’t buy a gun.
  16. This clip really is the perfect encapsulation of the difference between the two parties. Sure, the “weird” meme evolved into everyone on the internet laughing at JD, but it started with Walz pointing out how *weird* the policies are that Republicans support. I could be mistaken, but I do not believe “weird” has ever been used by either of the candidates as describing anything other than Republicans as a group or Republican policies. Trump, however, uses “weird” as a pure personal attack. It’s not an observation, it’s simply bullying, and it completely misses the original message and why it hit so hard the first time everyone heard it. The two choices in a nutshell.
  17. He seems like a nice kid but Victor Shi is basically just liberal catturd.
  18. Ignoring the fact that he is referencing an incredibly poorly rated pollster to draw this conclusion, "Setting aside the recent good polls, there just hasn't been much positive state polling lately" is an objectively insane statement.
  19. He would be, but it wouldn’t be a 2024 merit-based decision.
  20. It is a good reminder that many of the people claiming Elko was the next big thing aren’t actually informed enough to even know what he looks like and just parrot what Liucci, etc. tell them.
  21. Whitley is finding professional success for the first time in like five years, so of course we have morons (not you putt) immediately wanting to move him back to the rotation.
  22. “Come to Texas A&M, where you can sacrifice your body and likely take literal years off your life, and we will reward you with public accusations of drug abuse if you lose a big game!”
