  1. Dude must be a psychic since initial lineups weren’t posted until over an hour after this tweet.
  2. And it's remarkable how effective "stop being so weird" is as a rebuttal to almost any of their dumb ideas. There's no legitimate counter that doesn't make them sound insanely defensive. It's genius.
  3. Oh, I absolutely was one of them. I just think it’s a giant tell that their absence from this forum has nothing to do with the posters in here being too “mean” and is actually due to a lack of confidence in their side.
  4. I’ve been a bit disengaged from the deadline gossip this year, but are there real thoughts that we acquire a difference-maker? What the hell kinda package are people expecting us to be able to put together?
  5. Was very interesting that they were the most vocal in years right after the shooting, when they seemed to think they had this election locked up.
  6. Why are you acting like someone who has never experienced a trade deadline before? You’re smarter than this.
  7. They’re also the reason that Kamala probably will not pick this election’s cheat code: a bipartisanly popular governor from the likely tipping state. It’s madness.
  8. Remember this poll when the internet freaks out after she picks Shapiro.
  9. Yeah, this would be my question. What are the values that you think the country has lost over the past few decades specifically, and how does Donald Trump help get them back?
  10. That hangover gonna hit like hell when you wake up today.
  11. To be clear, I’ve stated that I wouldn’t go Shapiro. All I’m saying is that “Democrats/Kamala don’t care about Jews” is guaranteed to be one of the Republican attack points, and videos of monument vandalism and Hamas flags flying outside the capital while American flags burn will only escalate the issue to outside those of us terminally online, and make it more likely something that the party feels a need to address. I love the idea of protesting Bibi (fuck him) but it was carried out in the least productive way possible for anyone who truly wants to fix the issue and not just let out emotion.
  12. They would need to add a couple more zeroes to get me to willingly move from Palo Alto to Lubbock.
  13. There will be riots in Chicago regardless. But these are going to be the images they try and pin to Kamala, and they do NOT play well with the America that lives mostly offline.
  14. I hope they realize that shit like this makes it much more likely for the Dems to think they need someone like Shapiro on the ticket.
  15. If it’s announced that Kamala has to return some of the donations, the ensuing donation surge at ActBlue would make earlier this week look like child’s play.
  16. And let's see how that request is going:
  17. When things are going great and you're definitely not worried.
  18. If she wants to save some time and lock in the loss early, I found the pick.
  19. I like Shapiro, but I think this is where I am as well.
  20. This will be my last post on this in here as I don't want to fuck up this thread with a topic everyone hates, but I had a conversation with a relative last week (pre-Biden dropout) that really shook me. For my entire life, she's been the most reliable Democratic voter I know, yet she informed me that while she would never vote for Trump, any politician that she does vote for in November will be Republican... and it's because she feels betrayed by how the Democratic party has treated Israel, the lack of support for Jewish students on college campuses, etc. (NOTE: I pushed back, highlighted how many feel that they are too PRO-Israel, how this is NOT the election to make a point, how it's insane to make this the single issue that defines your politics... yada yada yada). In no way am I trying to say that she has a point or that I agree with her so please don't attack the messenger, I am merely pointing out that while much of the analysis is on how bringing in a pro-Israel candidate for VP could hurt the party, I do imagine there is probably some thought behind how it could mend some frayed relationships. This relative is active in the Jewish community and I have to think her opinion is shared among most of her circle.
