  1. Trajectory: we are 9-1 for the first time since before most of the roster could tie their shoes Fit: For the first time in the social media era, we have no public malcontents. No players parents bitching on social media. No anonymous rumors of locker room issues NFL: we are 6 months away from an NFL draft that will feature the most draft picks/first rounders since Colt was on campus The blown leads need to be addressed, but seriously what are we even whining about right now?
  2. This website would have burned itself to the ground if we were Georgia and we only beat South Carolina by 10 and Auburn by 7. 2005 gave this fanbase has a warped perception of what success looks like, when that roster was arguably one of the top 5 ever constructed in college football history. Much more often, good teams look like 2009 - Some elite players covering up absolute black holes. Also, is this bolded quote from 2011? We've known this for like over a decade, and it's a really weird statement to make right after we DID beat TCU in what is apparently the worst game of football ever played, according to most on this website. I was lucky enough to avoid this website over the weekend, and it's apparent that many of you have lost your minds.
  3. In that case, time to give Sark a lifetime extension for being 9-1 with this collection of scrubs.
  4. You're a really good poster, but "hatred doesn't count if they're stupid" is a really weird place to plant your flag.
  5. On the surface, I don't disagree here and I recognize fully what I am about to say is purely anecdotal. I am not a super devoted Jew, and my Jewish circle really doesn't extend beyond the greater Houston area. I'm about as far removed from the conflict, physically and emotionally, as a Jew can be. In the past two weeks, there's been an Israeli restaurant vandalized in Houston and a neighbor two streets over found a note stuck under her mezuzah "take this ugly thing down." Again, this isn't me projecting one-off occurrences from across the country, this is my fucking immediate circle. Our plight absolutely is miniscule to what either group is facing over there, and I know we aren't the first group to have shit like this happen. But don't gaslight us, man.
  6. Espada may end up being the guy, but it’s very apparent that the decision makers aren’t stoked about it.
  7. It was very much not. It was a variation on the “nobody believed in us” tale that is told in almost every celebratory speech. No mention of other teams, no acknowledgement even if the magnificent end of season choke job by the minor leaguer masterbators in Arlington. Lack of reading comprehension: yet another check in the aggy box for the boys up north.
  8. 1) the Seager comment is fun and exactly the type of shit talking that will elevate the rivalry 2) it closes the book on which team is aggy-er. There’s no universe where a Longhorn player references aggy in a championship speech, but the inverse would be a damn certainty. And you all know it deep down, which is why these comments trigger you so much. This is YOUR day and the only reference to the parade I’ve seen is about the Astros. BOMC, or whatever. But who cares, you guys shouldn’t be concerned with what everyone else thinks. This is a big accomplishment. You should go ahead and schedule a weekly get together where you can sing Creed and Yell about how great y’all are. Might I suggest Friday nights at Midnight?
  9. When the people in the "hate" thread aren't being nice enough
  10. Well, unless you are a student in Dallas or Fort Worth ISD lulz
  11. Have fun at your tailgate! One day I'm sure your team will be popular enough to fill up a real parade route through a city instead of recreating a Turkey Trot. eal ci
  12. There's an 83% chance that she would be the lone non-Kaleb vote in that scenario, unnecessarily putting a HUGE target on her back. There's no upside there, and I'm sure even Kaleb would tell her to write his name down in that scenario. I know the edit tried to make it seem like it was Emily vs J in the revote, but the actual votes made it clear that J was the obvious next in line to go and there was no true danger to Emily.
  13. Yeah, he'll lose far more than just Michigan if he does what many on the far left want him to do.
  14. something something ceasefire
  15. It is an interesting read, and I would agree that here in America I am much more likely to be killed by a right wing "Heil Hitler" type of antisemite, and they would broadcast as much. But globally, antisemitism more closely resembles what we see many on the left hide behind - "It's Israel, not the Jews" while making no discernable effort to distinguish between the two. (All of this IMO and largely anecdotal, of course.)
  16. To be fair, I'd vote for Hunter a million times before I voted for Mike.
  17. The people who want to kill Jews do not differentiate, which is the point I’ve made repeatedly in this thread.
  18. We’ve got “Hell Hitler” being broadcast on Atlanta highways and Jewish manhunts taking place in Russian airports, but I’m sure everything will turn cool for us Jews globally if Israel puts down its weapons.
  19. It’s not the majority by any means, but I have seen quite a few “I support resistance by any means necessary” comments from American leftists. It’s essential to emphasize the difference between Hamas and Palestine, but you guys gotta know what is being said out there before you flatly deny it.
  20. (Y’all are in the fucking World Series, Adolis has been a monster, and my team shit the bed. If any of you think these posts in the fucking Hate thread are genuine, you are as dumb as you are sensitive.)
