  1. I agree that it should be left to local governments, where applicable. what’s cruel about this? Vote with your feet, boss
  2. Congrats! Well done. The big Defi coins are really strong right now too. AAVE snx comp yfi. Feels like Eth winnings moving into other stuff. Or maybe the big hedge funds are finally getting into to DeFi, in which case it will test the theory that Eth value will be hurt by people not holding it but acquiring it and using it to access other protocols. Interesting idea on the chip issue. Unfortunately Elon’s influence on markets is bigger than anyone in the world right now. It helped on the way up, hurts now.
  3. Too many maladjusted people on here like upper westside, jimmy northam, or brisket for me to divulge more specifics, but it is true.
  4. All things being equal of course I would choose HEB. Our Walmart is fine. I didn’t say I buy everything there. Some things I would never buy there, but our HEB is a zoo. Way too crowded. I’m aware that it was during Trump term that the CDC worked with teachers union to craft guidance. The point that was stated earlier stands. The CDC is a propaganda org run by unelected bureaucrats that In many ways harmed kids last year. They don’t have to be near me to know that it could affect our country.
  5. The good thing about WalMart is you always feel better about your body after you’ve been in one. Our Walmart is really not bad. Aisles less crowded. Food options improving. Still don’t buy meat there.
  6. You didn’t ask me, but if I have a choice I’ll favor places that don’t force me to wear unnecessary piece of apparel over my face. It’ll be much more enjoyable to stroll through Walmart sans mask than go to HEB until they change their position. I imagine I’m not the only one. And I’m used to wearing one all day at my holistic chiropractic/veterinary clinic.
  7. This is such a lame post. The only solace is that it’s about 10,753 words shorter than your average one.
  8. Can’t we laugh at the headline? They’re “mounting a campaign” like they’re fighting an uphill battle against something or somebody. But they were the roadblock. 🤡
  9. It’s a bunch of rednecks on the school board (not really). But we’ve been in person from day one. Have dropped the mask mandate for kids. I don’t see any restrictions next fall.
  10. Not everywhere. I’m sure my red school district will be balls to the wall next fall.
  11. Wearing a mask gets in the way of stuffing your piehole. This is America. We gotta eat.
  12. I have to disagree here. Elon is the lame one. He does a 180 on Bitcoin within 3 months, based on environmental concerns, which everyone already knew about. He does it while spewing misinformed nonsense that makes him sound like he just discovered Bitcoin last week. He’s trashing Bitcoin while pumping a literal joke coin as some kind of “solution”. Elon is not taking any of this seriously and no one should take him seriously. I have to say I kind of like it. One of the biggest draws to Bitcoin is the decentralization. There’s no leaders that are able to corrupt the vision or mold it to their liking. What better way to prove that than kicking out the richest guy in the world, a global icon, because he doesn’t get it? To borrow Elon’s phrase, in retrospect it was inevitable. Elon is an eccentric egomaniac who has risen to the level of richest man on the planet due almost solely to government largesse and subsidy. He’s a creation of the fiat system. He was always going to have issues with a system that can’t be directly gamed by his money or influence. As far as Bitcoin’s mining and electricity use, it is substantial, but I reject that this use of electricity has to be justified, while other don’t. Also, the energy mix is constantly improving.
  13. That’s a very favorable pic. The bodycam footage from the search of her home tells a different story.
