  1. I realize you find his wealth distasteful, but what specific faults do you find with his assessment?
  2. I posted it in the crypto thread but he sees some kind of global digital ledger replacing it, but not specifically Bitcoin. I know you’ve cited Rickards before that believes SDRs will be next.
  3. I didn’t realize he had spoken that much recently. got it
  4. This is pretty interesting. Druckenmiller thinks it’s likely that some sort of globally distributed ledger will be the next global reserve currency after USD. He thinks it hasn’t been invented yet, but he’s the first major investment “guru” I’ve seen predicting that something in crypto realm will be next. I say if that’s the case it will obviously be BTC.
  5. If the SEC believes in investor protection then approving a Bitcoin etf makes a lot of sense. A huge amount of money on gbtc which is very inefficient.
  6. How am I trolling? I’m not the leader of the free world saying people need to get back to work. That’s the President.
  7. Having to “look for work” is a bit different than if you’re offered a suitable job you must take it. Who determines what’s suitable? I shared it because it’s a notable change in tone directly from the President. Used to be we had every word shared here. Now we have a President who rarely speaks in public and people hardly pay attention to what he says.
  8. Not sure there’s any way to enforce what he’s saying but ok
  9. One year out expectations up to 3.4% from 3.2%. Three years out steady at 3.1%
  10. I’m sorry you must be lost. This is a forum where people actually discuss the economy, business and finance. You can do the circle jerking (CR) and name calling (DT) elsewhere. Hope this helps.
  11. Appreciate you reading, and your serious contribution.
  12. Kellogg Co. , maker of Frosted Flakes, Cheez-Its and Pringles, said Thursday that higher costs for ingredients, labor and shipping are pushing it and other food makers to raise prices. “We haven’t seen this type of inflation in many, many years,” Chief Executive Officer Steve Cahillane said.
  13. My wife wanted to buy a little doge for fun at 0.30. I said no it’s a joke and going to dump. She’s so salty about it now. Her high school friend that’s lives paycheck to paycheck (NTTAWWT) keeps bragging about doge. I’m about to have to fund a Robinhood account for her so she can go for it. This may or may not be a doge top signal. Also, Elon on SNL with people expecting doge pump seems like a sell the news thing. But I’ve been wrong for a while on this one. 😂
  14. And on the flip side, have fun staying poor New York
  15. Protein substitution, diet modification. For the environment.
  16. Of course. I think it’s fine if you want to eat bugs. The part that I don’t like is who’s promoting it. This isn’t some small opinion outlet. It makes me think there will be a coordinated push to manipulate the food consumption of large amounts of people.
