  1. I took a screenshot of his funds investments. Sorry for it being blurry.
  2. People seem to really like Voyager but it’s not available in Texas. If you’re outside Texas it might be a good pick for shitcoins. If you’re just talking about buying bitcoin with no limit orders or anything I just use cash app for buying dips. Smooth app, super easy, haven’t experienced any downtime. Only downside is if you buy substantial amounts and want to pull to cold storage there are withdrawal limits. But I’m just buying drops in the bucket currently. As a side note, only a few people may find this interesting but I thought this was a cool stream with the head of one of the biggest DeFi funds. He’s based out of Singapore. He’s Uber bullish on both DeFi and bitcoin so there’s something for everybody. I liked hearing his insights. One of the cohosts is CryptoCobain for those that follow Crypto Twitter.
  3. I think this will have a negligible effect. People on here that are still afraid a year into Covid to eat at restaurants and wear masks to outdoor youth soccer games were always going to be upset.

No. It’s always determined on case by case basis. This feels like political hit.
  5. Thank you for actually bringing up something that is a concern of mine, mostly due to my limited knowledge of cryptography. People smarter than me are not overly concerned about the quantum computing threat, but I’m not totally convinced tbh. https://www.forbes.com/sites/rogerhuang/2020/12/21/heres-why-quantum-computing-will-not-break-cryptocurrencies/?sh=27d7a03c167b Pardon the cheesy YouTube graphic. Andreas Is one of the top bitcoin advocates/speakers out there. A very thoughtful guy. As for #2 I think we will see some variation of that. The govt will likely try to link it to “domestic terrorism”. I use the air quotes not to minimize what may happen, but they will try to exaggerate Bitcoin’s role in it. I think they tried to play that up with the Viking hat crew. Janet Yellen recently reiterated the old nonsense about how it’s used mainly by criminals even though USD via cash is most used for crime. So they’re already showing their hand. We’ll see how far it goes when it happens.
  6. Hopefully part of the eval for Newville is a chromosome analysis to rule out Turner's syndrome.
  7. I guess my fake concern is better than the lack of concern I’ve seen on this board with regards to school. Way more misplaced concern about adults well being than kids well being.
  8. Our schools are open here. Not sure what you’re talking about. I was referencing other parts of the country who disregard the importance of schools for children. Especially poorer ones.
  9. Are we saying anything about kids dying or being harmed because of schools being closed in some less enlightened jurisdictions? Or is that a no go?
  10. Someone needs to tell the Big Guy that we’re over it.
  11. I just was at heb and read this news walking to my car. I threw my mask on the ground in defiance. A hot woman in her early 30s saw me do it, then marched over and started making out with me. It was like VJ Day. We’re back everybody.
  12. What do you mean? They’re open here aren’t they? We’re not Washington or California.
  13. Finally, something we agree on. But seriously we’re about to see a new wave of crypto rich coming from this bull cycle and Coinbase ipo. I’ll be interested to see what they pursue a la the PayPal mafia before.
  14. I think what we see here is people hung up on what bitcoin/crypto isn’t right now. On what can’t be done with it right now. At the same time you’re dismissing all the progress that has been made up to this point. If I had told a few years ago you that numerous s&p 500 corporations, insurance companies, and public endowments would all hold bitcoin on their balance sheets, or that Coinbase would trade with a valuation in the neighborhood of Goldman Sachs, you’ve would said no fucking way. It has no value. You can’t buy anything with it. Nobody can force you to use it. They can just make other better coins. You start to sound like Paul Krugman talking about the internet. All the same arguments, but it keeps ascending to a level of geopolitical significance. In the future we will have a country come public as a holder of bitcoin in reserves. When that happens things will escalate. Not sure who it will be, but this guy hopes it’s India. He wants them to embrace bitcoin and all other possible uses of crypto, such as decentralized social media. https://www.medianama.com/2021/02/223-india-bitcoin-balajis-srinivasan/
