  1. This is a great description. Thanks. lol How is it incorrect? The interactions teachers are having throughout their day are with people less likely to transmit the disease than adults and that are constantly wearing masks. Amazon driver was a bad pick. I was trying to think of people with lots of interactions with strangers throughout the day. They actually see people less. I stand by Chuy’s waitress. Like I said there are millions and millions of people (65 and older) that I would vaccinate before young teachers.
  2. Their level of exposure being around children is actually lower than the average Amazon driver or waitress at Chuy’s. That’s why I don’t necessarily see vaccination as a prerequisite for returning to in person instruction. We should vaccinate more run of the mill elderly people vs young teachers imo.
  3. I don’t know what specific comments you’re referencing, but there’s millions upon millions of people that should be vaccinated before teachers. I’m sorry, what part of my post did you disagree with? The school thing has been wrong since this summer. It will continue to be wrong going forward. I’m just disappointed now because I thought science was back, or something.
  4. I’m not crying. Our schools are open. Just feel bad for the families being left behind. I’m in Texas burbs. I’ve stated this multiple times, but I’ll repeat. Our school district had enough money left over from the first rounds of stimulus that school lunches have been free. And regarding the vaccinations, teachers need to get over themselves. They’re exposed less day to day than Amazon drivers or grocery store workers. Do they demand to be vaccinated before returning to work? Puhleeze.
  5. High schools are worse for sure. I’m confused, what exactly do you think is my “narrative”?
  6. I found this video explaining what this trader sees as the pros and cons. The trade that you’re supporting by lending your funds makes sense.
  7. So has there been any progress towards an arrest for the death of the cop?
  8. Gerry Hamilton thinks he ends up top 200 prospect a la CTJ protege Preston Stone.
  9. Well, maybe you leverage your significant network of contacts to let you in the best spots?
  10. Maybe. I think Dr Jill is going through the data and will present her recs to Joe.
  11. How exactly would they be able to restrict Florida travel? They would do it because 1/3 of all Uk variants cases are there? So that means 2/3 of them are elsewhere in the USA. Um, ok.
  12. It does make a different sound when it hits the receivers’ hands. Like a pitcher that can really throw gas.
  13. They survived the 50% drop In a day last March. I listened to an interview afterward with the Ceo and that gave me confidence to put real money to work there. I had it in BlockFi until December when the rumored Mnuchin regs were coming so I pulled it. Still haven’t put it back in. Thinking about it. risks- security. They’ve had personal info hacked. So there’s a list out there that has my personal info and bitcoin balance on the site at the time. they hold your keys. We’ve seen recently with Robinhood what happens when entities get offsides. Sometimes things get shut down. As is, you have to wait a day after you request your funds to get them. I may put some stuff back on there. Waiting for more regulatory clarity. As for how do they make their yield, I’m trying to find a good, clear write up on that. I’ll share if I do.
  14. You should take that advanced model of your kid’s elementary school and show it to the officials at all the entities that have said transmission at school is not a major issue. They might need to walk some things back. It’s time to face facts. Opposing opening for safety concerns is anti-science. Almost as much as saying there’s more than two sexes or that the vaccine will put the mark of the beast on you. Embrace it. When you think about it, it’s not often that you get such concrete evidence of incompetence and/or corruption on a state and local level. Saying it’s impossible to open safely without X billion more dollars when so much of the country has done it months ago. Or when private schools without federal grants have opened in the same jurisdictions. Just pathetic governance.
