  1. He cannot help overthinking things. It's his fatal flaw.
  2. Pete K deserves the Broyles Award. This entire season has been him bailing Sark out for his most galaxy brained moments. He really deserves to slap the shit out of Sark one good time.
  3. Absolutely dominating the LOS so let's run a slow developing screen, lose 7 yards and get two players killed. Sark is such a galaxy brained fucking moron sometimes.
  4. DJ Campbell killed a man DJC (1).mp4
  5. Never would've thought it would be Golden, not Bond, as the indispensable portal WR when the season started.
  6. "Fans wanted a flag for extra curriculars" No, Bolden's forward progress wasn't stopped, Dave.
  7. They held the shit outta Lifau on that run
  8. Ran it down Arkansas' throat in the second half Ran it down Kentucky's throat Ran it down A&M's throat ::scene missing:: Running it down Clemson's throat
  9. yeah it's a real (shitty) thing
  10. Arch is gonna throw a TD pass to Wingo at some point during the playoffs 🤐 arch wingo.mp4
  11. Adam Schefter got the reporting on Sacramento State hilariously wrong, but it resulted in him dunking Doug Gottlieb through the center of the Earth on Twitter so it was definitely worth it.
  12. UCLA sucks, but Georgia was supposed to go out and play them in the Rose Bowl to open the season next year with a return game in Athens in 2026. They replaced them with Marshall. They cited "changes in the college football landscape" as the reason why, meaning they knew they were going to play either Texas or Oklahoma in conference and on paper either option seemed ok at the time (OU sucks lol) so they added an easier game to the non-con like a bunch of pussies.
  13. 2024-25 was done as a two year thing where you host whomever you visited in 2024 in 2025 and visit whomever you hosted. It'll be a different schedule of opponents in 2026.
  14. Athens is a really cool college town and it's a fun place to watch a game. So if you're going to go to the Georgia game next year I will say this: book a hotel room as soon as you can. For a college town, they don't have a ton of hotel space. When they have big games hotel rooms go fast and can be expensive the longer you wait.
  15. Weird quirk: this will be the first time Texas will play four weeks in a row without a true home game since 1997 when they played at Rice, at Oklahoma State vs Oklahoma and at Missouri in a four week stretch. You fly into Atlanta, it's about 90 minutes to two hours from the Atlanta airport.
  16. good shit brother, thanks for the insight. Don't have much to add on the last play then. It's just depressing with the game on the line that's what Sark called. On the double screen Y delay I wonder if there's a modification in our offense for the outside receiver to be an option too. Ewers doesn't love throwing the ball in the middle of the field, but he has thrown it to Helm in some of those situations. Either way, Georgia was ready for it and wasn't going to let Helm get open on it. Seems like almost everything Sark wanted to dial up Georgia just had a plan for.
  17. One thing to add to this that I looked at this morning: for context and reference, College Football Data (https://collegefootballdata.com/) where I pull my info from defines a scoring opportunity as a possession that advances past the opponents 40 yard line. Over the past four weeks of the season (Arkansas, Kentucky, A&M and Georgia) Texas averaged less than a field goal (2.8 points per opportunity).
  18. Been out of work for a year, thankfully that should be coming to a soon barring a paperwork snafu 🙏
  19. I don't feel like starting my own thread. I watched every play Texas ran inside the Georgia 30 to see what is going with the offense because the offense has been pretty dreadful turning quality drives into points the second half of the season. You can even ignore my analysis if you want (understandable) because I put video of all the plays in there for you to be able to draw your own conclusions. https://open.substack.com/pub/danweiner/p/watching-every-texas-red-zoneish?r=fm9fw&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true
  20. I made my point. It was a good one. But here, let me explain something to you since you're a fucking moron: going from 7th to 97th and decreasing 1.5 points per opportunity is fucking pathetic regardless of how much more difficult the level of competition is. The redzone offense has sucked for two months. It's not the level of competition they're playing. Hope that helps.
  21. Jesus Christ some of you are so fucking stupid.
  22. From weeks 1-6 Texas ranked 7th in the country in points per opportunity with 5.08 PPO From weeks 7-14 Texas ranked 97th in the country in points per opportunity with 3.48 PPO The Texas offense with Quinn Ewers at the helm has simply not gotten the job done well enough in the redzone the second half of the season. That's not entirely on him, but he's the piece that you can most easily change to try and spark things in the redzone. It's not making a change for the sake of making a change. You have a player in Arch who brings a different skill set to the table than Ewers and that can help the offense. They need to use him and not half ass it. They need to have a decent package of runs, passes and RPOs available to run and use Arch to run them. I'm not suggesting that Arch should be the starting quarterback, but it's inarguable to say that the redzone offense is good enough and that they shouldn't use Arch.
  23. Texas had 6 drops on Saturday after having 10 the entire regular season and the offense was competent enough between the 20s to win the game. It's certainly kind of funny that Sark has managed to keep the peace in the quarterback room and keep Arch happy even though he could very well be the starter right now and Texas' national title hopes are going to come down to if Sark is really willing to use the things Arch can bring to the offense that Ewers can't.
