  1. And it's down to 480 now too for anyone looking.
  2. absolutely zero. They get worn 2-3 times a week and are even more comfortable. Look brand new still
  3. I'll be there with you. That is just an awful, awful idea
  4. Two months prior for me. But prior to me accepting a friend, I didn't know worked there, ran into me and told me "run, don't walk away", ended up at Reliant instead
  5. I really don't think it would have been. As much as I'm not a fan of Judge (almost solely because he's a Yankee), he's better at everything this year but SB, and he plays the field well and Shoehei doesn't at all. Anyone voting Ohtani this year without pitching over Judge shouldn't be allowed to vote ever again. And that's not taking anything from Ohtani, but Judge is clearly having the better season. OPS Plus is 226 to 188 for Judge, WAR is 10.8 to 8.8 for Judge I agree fans see them as similar years on the surface, but even a tiny dive shows a blowout by Judge would occur.
  6. So the solution is less concession options? For asthetic purposes only? That means the concessions on the outside will be double full and the space really won't change much ultimately. Personally I'd much prefer having concession options then going and sitting in my seat to enjoy the game faster. I mean I hear you in the wasted spaces area and agree that's a good idea. But overall I don't understand the point. Just to be maybe slightly less crowded?
  7. I've been to 40 something, including a bunch of dead parks now. It's in my top 10 with ease. And only Minny or and new Busch, parks I haven't been to have any shot at moving it down. If we're talking newer parks and not including Wrigley, Fenway or Dodger it would move up more. Minute Maid's outfield renovation fixed 90% of the issues with the park that existed IMO. Yes it could be better. But we aren't adding the scenery around PNC or AT&T and open air that make those two parks great. We can't add the history or Fenway or Wrigley. Everyone says "concourse" but I've never seen anyone articulate what changes they want made that could actually be made. They need to be wider, but that's not possible. Otherwise it's about as well organized a stadium as exists
  8. First I wouldn't do it that way unless I had to. Instead have the person that you know actually introduce you : "Hey Sally, I'm writing you to introduce you to Choripan, he's a great guy that is a perfect fit for the role you have open XYZ, we worked together at ABC and I vouch for him" Even a simple "Hey Sally, I wanted to introduce you to Choripan so it's a warm lead for you and him" is good enough, though the first will hold more weight. I found that pretty much anyone would do it, even people I had relatively innocuous relationships with because they want you to return the favor if they ever ask. And I've done it for tons of people over the years. It takes 10 seconds so why not? I did this with every role I applied for recently. I was fine with my current job just looking to move heavier into the AI/ML space officially if I could and make some more money. Since I wasn't just throwing my resume at everything it did make it easier but I would have still done it if that was the case too. I applied to 8 jobs that were excellent fits for me while also being promotions and allowed me to grow. Got 7 interviews and the 8th one they told me they already had someone they planned to hire. It works, and works well. A few of those ultimately the pay wasn't what I wanted and that was clear quickly, 1 I didn't like the manager, and the others I got to final rounds with. I started looking specifically because of this thread. I'm 47 and have had great career experience, but didn't want to get stuck where I was. We were having some financial issues (the company not me) and I didn't want to find out it was over then have a 6 month job hunt or longer. What's funny is the job I ended up taking the process was about 1.5 weeks total from resume to final interview and offer. So weird how sometimes it works that way and sometimes it's 12 interviews and then you get ghosted. Well, not so funny haha I guess
  9. Yes, Chat GPT works for this as well if you actually just spend some time working the prompts well. Anyone not doing this is basically saying they don't actually want a new job IMO. It's so easy to do and will make your resume hit the keywords as well as hit the requirements more effectively.

Shit, thought I posted. All good. Passed, had no issue. I did a cleanse on Saturday before the test just to try it out and was clean for a few days after. And then did another day of. Worked great! Used Detoxify MegaCleanse. Really wasn't awful tasting, though it wasn't good either. Plus side is a few weeks off put my tolerance back to way, way down.
  11. Only problem is that looks like before back to the future 2 version. So you need some plutonium
  12. There were a lot of gifts from the ump there

Appreciate the help. I did a trial with the cleaner and tested negative consistently. I'm hoping this is like most places that don't even waste their time paying for weed tests anymore.

Anyone have advice on passing a drug test. I applied for a job, thought it would take months and stopped a few weeks ago when I decided it was time to move on. But I got the job in 6 days after applying. Haven't had to take a drug test since I was like 22. No company I've worked for has done them. Not a heavy user of weed, but enough that I piss hot. Been two weeks off. Doing a Detoxify mega clean today just to test if it works for me. Interested in other ideas. Have to take one this week probably Thursday or Friday
  15. I have a guess that this was agreed upon with Neris. Allowed him to sign with a team that could go to the playoffs where he can contribute and get another contract later. No team is under any obligation to give a player innings, even if it's warranted by their play. I don't think the players union can do anything except bluster about it.
  16. CSB: I slept on my arm 2 years ago and couldn't feel my pinky and ring finger for 9 months. Slept on it again a similar way and it the feeling came back.
  17. Brian McTaggart @brianmctaggart · 7s Astros third baseman Alex Bregman said he slept with his arm wrong a few days ago and doesn’t want to play through it anymore. He expects to miss the weekend but said it’s not a long term injury.
  18. I think it is, but with a support feature in it
  19. That's Gary's job. Didn't look like he told him to slide
  20. Already happened twice, happened again once, no, probably not, happened a bunch, never left, that's definitely going to happen See Lainey wilson a few posts above
  21. I fixed one once before I knew how dangerous it was. Told a guy back then, that I think is maybe handier than Norm Abrams even, and he gave me a scolding. Never again. I watched videos of them failing and no thank you
  22. From the pro's perspective, he can't risk the insurance claim if he "fixes it" like you did and it breaks and you sue him. So from his POV it's a full replacement. But yeah, what you did works fine for a while, maybe even a long while. I got 3 extra years out of a door before, but eventually it will get out of whack. Just look out for it and be careful. Garage springs are one of the most dangerous things out there, and flexed metal is a good way to get it to unspring. But if you are careful and stay on top of it, it should be fine
  23. Every country boy I know would look at him and say "damn right, point that fucker and shoot, just have a steady base". Now if it was all the fancy guys with the goggles and reflectors and shit I'd say it would be more accurate
