  1. I think if we don't it will be because he didn't want to, not because the Astros didn't give me a good number
  2. Hot take, but the Astros are going to resign Tucker, he's the first guy we'll have hit the market that's a no brainer to do so with. He also hits the counting stats Bagwell is fond of as well as the advanced nerd ones he's not. So he does what everyone in the front office likes on some level. 10-340 will be a no brainer with a higher first year trailing down to the end.
  3. What was Caratini doing there? He had a beeline to the ball and was way closer, why not give getting it in time a shot?
  4. Glad I wasn't the only one that had that as their first thought
  5. Lucky, my wife just leaves them all on after. Sometimes I get lucky and the first one she touches is accidentally right. I even rearranged them in a manner that she said made sense to her when we redid the kitchen. Took me a day to relearn, she still has no idea even though it was her design
  6. AJs always been a douche, but he's also often correct from a baseball perspective, just says it in a douchey way.
  7. What a garbage call
  8. Saw the other day that his mom is the mom from Little Big League
  9. With respect, that tells me you never pitched at a serious level. You absolutely need something, and I think lack of sticky stuff is a much bigger reasons for arms falling off than clocks. It's the second biggest reason to me besides "just throw as hard as you can every pitch" which is admittedly even bigger. But guys haven't to slam the ball deeper in their hands to get grips is causing massive strain on elbows and forearms. They need sticky stuff, and it's pretty easy to accidentally get from one hand to the other and into the glove. If you have it on one hand and rub up a ball now you have it on both. It's an idiotic rule. Sadly it's a rule because guys like to use stickier stuff to make the ball dance.
  10. Stat of the day: 1. Player in Astros history to have extra-base hits in five consecutive at-bats: Alex Bregman on Monday and Tuesday, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
  11. Ronel wasn't arguing like he was guilty. Not saying he wasn't, everyone still uses stuff. And the legal stuff really isn't much different feel wise on a glove than the illegal stuff.
  12. Hmm, is Bregman turning around???
  13. It's significantly easier to park a truck or large SUV backing in than it is nose in. Maybe not a sedan or sports car, I'd say that's 50/50. And that's true without backup cameras. However, with back up cameras I'm not sure how anyone could argue against it. People just have more practice going the other way
  14. Never been a fan, don't get it at all, it's creepy as fuck to me
  15. Never mind they are just as annoyed at people parking in front first, which is actually more difficult to do well than backing in and causes back out and readjust in. Team back in all day 'ery day
  16. It's those damn Chick-Fil-A cows you have to really keep your eye on, feral monsters...
  17. It was a 15 year old Hitachi that was still kicking. Bought a Bosch 1617EVSPK, all the guys at Rockler personally used it too and liked it a lot. I'm really impressed with the smoothness and quietness of it It was the one in my router table actually, the one in the XCarve is a Makita that seems to be pretty solid so far. On another note: Anyone have a recommendation on good hole saws? The Milwaukee ones I've been using forever are fine, but I'd like something a bit tougher
  18. Fuck off ump, that's clearly a swing
  19. Only negative (I guess you'd call it that) was my router in my router table died. Had to go buy a new one. The new one is much smoother and half the volume of the old one.

No CR, but it's horseshit when presidents do this shit close to the election. Should have done this day 1 in office. I guess better late than never
  21. It's the logo of my wife's salon. She has a pop up shop she always does and the women are always looking for gifts for their husbands. Thought that could be representative to sell some of them. I got the Odie's oil on all of them. Turned out great if I do say so myself.
  22. Running an extra electrical outlet really isn't very difficult. That's an expensive one off to get an electrician out for. Ten minutes of youtube videos should be enough especially if their is an outlet on the other side of one of your walls
  23. Here they are in progress. I'm about halfway done finishing them. Just using some Odie's Oil, I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'll take a pic once I'm done finishing them. Lot of Aggies I know, but Texas is basically impossible to get into. All but one of those kids would have chosen Texas if they didn't get CAP'd I had some red oak for a few, bought some maple and ran through it, then went with Ash. Ash seemed to work very well though it's a bit fibrous like the oak.
  24. I'm still at a loss why Dubon isn't our first baseman. I wonder if he just doesn't feel comfortable there?
  25. I bought an X-carve, or really traded for it, 3 months or so ago and it's just been sitting there. I finally had an idea for it. My oldest son is graduating high school. For all of his close friends I'm carving the college logo they are going to and some lines for traction plus their initials. Outside of a bunch and starts and stops on getting good images for the design it's gone very well. I'll put some pics up once I'm done, or get some time before then.
