  1. Been surrounded by aggies all week, so what’s one more dumbshit.
  2. We are just far enough not to be inundated with folks congregating around it (last two years we have stayed at houses on either side) but still close enough to have a 3 minute walk from our beach setup for a turbo. Thursday is our last day. Look for the orange 80 foot long octo-kite (and possibly up to 4 other kites) and the Texas flag Academy tent with a Horns, Tech, and TxSt flags flying. I’ll be the one chasing the two year old that is obsessed with the water.
  3. Hazy today. But good wind for the kites.
  4. We are between 17-19
  5. One morning an I’m already exhausted. Thank god for nap time.
  6. Nice, if you see the 80 foot long octo kite, that is us.
  7. This is good to hear. We are doing it date night and not the last big family meal due to lack of kids menu options.
  8. Sea Ranch has always been the fancy seafood place. We usually go on the last night. Apparently there is a new place, F&B and the reviews seem good. The wife and I are taking advantage of the grandparents one night and the plan is to try it out, I'll let you know. When are you headed down?
  9. Ceviche Ceviche for lunch. We leave tomorrow. I'm getting nothing done at work today.
  10. Our pediatrician told us once you tested positive, there was no point to continue testing, as you could test positive for more than a month despite not being able to spread. If no symptoms after 5 days from symptom onset, you can end isolation, but still wear mask until day 10 from symptom onset. After day 10, you can start licking doorknobs. This is what we followed.
  11. Headed down Friday for a week. cannot wait.
  12. Search indexes down again @immamac? Getting a something's wrong error.
  13. Thanks guys, Amazon delivered just after lunch, and I already have it installed. Have another one inbound as a spare for next time.
  14. amazon delivered, and I got it installed in 10 minutes. Now laying nekked underneath an air vent.
  15. Thankfully I purchased a new more powerful and efficient window unit for my bedroom three months ago. I like to sleep as cold as possible, and we installed the old one in the kiddos room so we could run the central much warmer over the summer to save some cash. So we will all sleep well, but eating dinner in a sweat lodge was fun.
  16. AC capacitor blew an hour ago. New one won’t be here till tomorrow. I’m betting right about when the temp drops and the rain starts. FML.
  17. Capacitor just blew on my Lennox system. Have one on order from Amazon to deliver tomorrow, but just curious if anyone has a spare that I can buy off you today, and replace tomorrow? 45+10uf capacitor is what I'm looking for. Guess I'll need to start keeping extras on hand.
  18. S So are you just ignoring Thomas specifically stating in writing that he thought the case that allows that, the case against same sex relationships, and the case against same sex marriage be the next things revisited?
  19. Yeah, I had a cough for a day, and a few evenings of sinus congestion. Which is pretty much what the 2 year old had. The wife had fever/cough/body/headaches for 3 days straight and is still dealing with a cough.
  20. Lol, been that way on campus for at least 4 years here. Apparently the younger generation does not enjoy them. Makes my daily walks to and from the office that much better.
  21. Apparently my "superior immune system" comments to my wife for the last 5 days were a karma magnet. Positive this morning.
  22. Little man handling it like a champ, just a runny nose and occasional cough. Demanded we go swimming twice today. Wife tested positive Friday night, been like a bad flu for her. On advice from several friends that have had it recently, tried to get a script for Paxlovid, but was denied. Only person we have talked to that has been denied. Still no symptoms for me, and daily morning tests coming up clean. Even after accidentally eating a pickle that my son handed to me that he had been eating. Weird virus.
  23. You can definitely do it yourself, it's pretty plug and play as far as the actual install goes. Quite a few folks on F150 forums will even sell you an APIM. You will need a laptop with Forscan on it to program it to your truck (and a USB to ODBII cable). I haven't actually done a program of the APIM before (I've read up on it as it is a somewhat common issue), but I've done pretty much everything possible with Forscan (added BLISS to my brothers truck, added lots features that were not on my lariat including updating the APIM from Sync 2 to the latest 3.4, and reprogramed a buddies F250 after we added a much larger fuel tank). Just follow the directions online, and make sure you make a back up. It's really pretty straightforward if you are tech savvy at all. If you were is Austin, I'd assist as long as you brought the booze.
