  1. Just nuts in South Austin. Wasn’t expecting to get much more than a dusting this far south.
  2. Well after our first couple of road trips with the 6 month old and the dog, it is apparent the Taco is just not big enough for us on the inside. Tried to convince the wife to upgrade her car, but she is not having it. So looks like an F-150 is in my future. Looking at 2016 and newer 4x4 is my only must haves. Anything I need to be on the lookout for? I tend to keep vehicles until the wheels fall off, so I’m leaning towards the V8 since I try and do all of the maintenance myself, and initial research shows those are easier to work on than the EcoBoosts. Probably an XLT. Good news, the 10 year old Taco only has 100k miles so it still has tons of value.
  3. Just installed a CarPlay unit in my old taco. Sure does make things a lot nicer inside the front seats. Like everything else I’ve added, Toyota makes working on these things really easy.
  4. Subbed
  5. In
  6. Rage -1 Rage +1
  7. Jim Fucking Ned what a game
  8. FREE FOOTBALL
  9. Yessir.
  10. Yeah, this kid is good. He’d be good at a 6A achool. He’s is gonna be great when he puts some weight on.
  11. Canadian is a machine.
  12. Gruesome injury for the Post QB (HC's kid).
  13. Great episode, classic Clarkson/Hammond/May with the exception that the budget for the modified cars is a bit higher.....
  14. My brother bought an 08 Wrangler with one used that replaced his rear-end when it started leaking 4 years later. $50 deductible, warranty paid for itself twice. We bought one with my wife’s Subaru because it was the first Subie that anyone we knew had bought, still haven’t used it. UFCU bundled one with my Tacoma note for $500, and I never used it. going forward, I would do it on a vehicle that is used, that is An American brand, but will probably skip it on Asian makes or new vehicles.
  15. UT System did away with the student perpetual version, as they provide all students with an O365 subscription. The perpetual option offered through the agreement is for faculty/staff. However, typically its all an automated eligibility check unless something goes wrong, in which a human looks at it.
  16. Also, use campuscomputer.com and search for Office. That link posted above is the general EDU site and will likely lead to increased scrutiny on eligibility.
  17. Yeah, alumni for Hardware mostly. Most of the software deals are tied to University agreements. But as I said above, enforcement is pretty lax as MSFT/UT/CCS doesn’t really care.
  18. Has anyone tried rolling up into the campus computer store and doing that? They will tell you to do it online, all digital copies these days. If you have a UTexas email through the legacy/alumni program, you should be able to sneak it through the eligibility check, but don’t hold me to that. Worst they will do is refund your money. My info may be bad, I do not work on the personal side of the house.
  19. Is the new mobile app live yet? Or is that still to come?
  20. They don’t have the support yet to even can their current coach., and a large portion of the fan base would riot if it happened sooner. (From Lubbock, my entire family are Raiders, and are decently connected with good info from inside the admin). But in two years, with a rehab at Liberty, and two more years of abysmal football? There will be lots of people willing to do the “Christian thing” and give him a second chance.
  21. So Auburn hires Freeze, Liberty hires Art. That timeline works out perfectly for Art to end up at Tech when they fire their current mistake in two years.
  22. Goddamnit now I have to explain why I just spit my beer out
  23. I have, that is where my first pic is taken. You need recent rain, or its just bad dirt roads. Also, city may have recently shut it down based on info I have heard (this was a failed subdivided neighbor hood from the 80's, so they are city streets). I haven't been in 2 years or so, but it was well known then, and could get crazy packed, so I imagine its gotten exponentially worse.
  24. Hidden Falls adventure park.
  25. Here is mine. 2011 Base model 4x4. Daily driver with just over 100k miles (bought it in 16 with 35k). Been all over the US camping in this thing (BiBe, PINS, Utah Big 5, California, Arizona, Oregon, Colorado). love the long bed for the storage and to sleep in, but man that extra wheelbase was a bitch running the switchback passes around Ouray/Telluride.
