  1. My brother made it 22 miles in his outback last summer. The deep ruts caused by lifted trucks finally caused him to stop, when the beach got too narrow. That thing was a monster in the soft sand. He could go right next to the dunes when I was in the ruts in my truck and have no issues....
  2. You will have no issues, boards might be helpful if you get in trouble, but you can also let some air out of your tires as well. Shovel can be used to dig a latrine.
  3. I've driven to MM 15 before in 2WD. Stay near the water, and the sand will be nicely packed. Take a shovel. You will be fine. There will be people in minivans and sports cars that go farther than you.
  4. PINS. Drive until you have as much space as you want, park car, have fun. Nearly 70 miles of beach, and even on the most packed days the last few summers, we just drive a little further and usually have no one within 500 yards on either side.
  5. Texas you can do OTF. Changed several years ago.
  6. That thing popped. And of Course it happened right over Bee Cave, @phdhorn always gets the rain!
  7. Perfectly legal these days in Texas.....
  8. Sunset from last night in West Austin
  9. Y’all have a recommendation for hosting panoramas? I’ve been on a drone kick lately, and stitching panos has been fun, but all my usual hosting sites have limits that are way below the file sizes these end up being.
  10. Jackbox games are great. I’m hosting a game night tonight, and we will use several different party packs. Host has to share the screen, but participants just need one screen for the zoom call, and a phone to interact with the game.
  11. Tiny version because I’m not tapa VIP, sent the drone up in south Austin right before it hit.
  12. So many things make sense now.... Torbush.....
  13. There was in the cell that is east of bastrop, but don’t see anything right this moment. But it could spin some up really quick, has done it already.

  15. I'll be really surprised it UT doesn't make an announcement in the next few days. In the span of 2 days, they have purchased a brand new license covering the entire campus for remote meeting software, they are beginning to schedule large train the trainer meetings for IT staff, with the line, expect "faculty training sessions to be scheduled in the very near future" for how to conduct remote work. Things don't work this quickly, like ever.
  16. Yup, got a buddy who recently got one, and there is no comparison to my 2nd gen 4.0.
  17. Who is the one with the reading comprehension problem? And the AR was not next to the door, I said it was next to the bedside table, pistol was IN the bedside table. if you are going to be a self righteous prick, make sure you are right...
  18. Camera going in the bedroom in about 10 minutes, if you are right, you get half off my newly created pornosite...
  19. First kid is still cooking. To be fair, it was shit from the first post.
  20. Any recs on a good/quick biometric handgun safe I can keep in the bedside table?
  21. The list of people that know what I have I can count on 4 fingers. 2 of those live in the house, the other two are my brothers who live in different cities. This was not someone I know.
  22. 78748 just isn't what is used to be....
  23. The safe cannot be gotten to or in quickly should we need it, and yes, the guns were in the safe while we were out of town, but those two were kept there because they can be gotten to quickly. Lesson learned, looking at biometric safe for the bedside now.
  24. less of him knowing where it was, more bad placement on our end. We were not using it for security, we were using it to check on the dog during the day. Problem will be fixed today.
