  1. Got any Seafood recs? Can't miss Asian places?
  2. I don't mind either. Other than the lack of access to the outdoors, but we just had friends move up there, and will be back often.
  3. Subbed to this as well. Making my first trip last weekend this month.
  4. Thats great. Last time I had to change a tire, I would have had to walk 20 miles to call roadside service, and then, hoped that roadside service had a 4X4 that could get down the 13 mile dirt "road" to get to me. Oh yeah, and it would have been the next day likely when they would have gotten to me, since it was a Sunday, and the nearest open Roadside assistance was a 3 hour drive away.
  5. Funny, I just had to take Defensive Driving for a speeding ticket, and about 10 minutes of the DWI videos was Vince talking about how he fucked up the first time, and he would never do it again. Aceable is the website and app, pretty easy if anyone needs to do it.
  6. Yeah, I had never used it before, but defiantely have the REI app on my phone.
  7. Fantastic info man, just found this, and gave a lot of clarity: https://www.hikingproject.com/trail/7019658/limpia-chute-trail
  8. I've got the HC 4X4, so not worried there. Good to hear the little ones did it. Wife isn't a huge hiker, and the reports of this hike are all over the map for level of difficulty.
  9. They announced during a breach, which means it is the definition of a no knock.
  10. We got a CuisineArt for our wedding. Uses those 1 pound green camping propane bottles, or you can get an adaptor for the big ones. We used it a ton the first year, but now we are lazy, and don't ever use it. But it is great. https://www.cuisinart.com/shopping/outdoor-grilling/portables/cpo-600
  11. OK, so I was looking a few weeks ago for a trip to Seattle end of next month. Costco was not cheaper. I look again today, some brands are cheaper, some are not.
  12. Anyone eve hiked to Baldy Peak on Mt. Livermore at the Nature Conservancy in the Davis Mountains? Wife and I are considering a trip in March at one of their open days.
  13. Yeah, this was the case last December, We raced to make the Gap by shutdown, and he wouldn't do it. Had to go to PJ. Might have broken some speeding laws that day. Spent 3 days in Pine Canyon #2, and lived to tell about it.
  14. Ouachita National Forest Hot Springs, AR https://goo.gl/maps/niY27DMed4m
  15. no idea the real answer, but I've never had adverse affects.
  16. Yeah, the double up never really helps me, but I have taken enough benedryl in my life, that it no longer makes me drowsy, so for bad days, I go straight for the pink pills.
  17. I was mobile when I first replied, but yeah, search still sucks here. Goog search FTW.
  18. I've never done the interior of the SP, but have stayed along the river multiple times. I think my next trip out there, we are gonna roam the interior of the SP. A buddy has a pic blown up in his living room of the sunset at Guale 2, and I've been itching to spend some time there.
  19. I'm that miserable person that takes Zyrtec 365 days a year when in Austin, because if it's not one thing, it's another. Cedar kills me every year, it's the worst. I jumped on the Flonase train 12/1 this year, and have had easily the best Cedar season in 12 years in Austin. This morning was the first that I have had bad drainage waking up, so I'm preparing myself for tomorrow. Heading to Vegas for the weekend, so of course its gonna rain to drop it down while I'm gone. If y'all are placing bets, #'s will go sky high come Tuesday.
  20. You idoits..... dont you know the title game was already played in Atlanta, how do you expect bama to get excited about this meaningless exhibition game....
  21. Maybe try the thread with 12 pages?
