  1. I was wondering who else caught that.
  2. I'd take "I'll smash your head and eat it" era CT over anyone else we've ever seen on the Challenge. It took all of security and half the guys in the house to keep Adam from dying that night.
  3. That was the most contrived and controlled BS I can ever remember seeing on the Challenge. If anyone from KP wins this season it gets an automatic asterix. Champs vs Stars was a more honest competition.
  4. Was KC wearing Derrick's outfit from All-Stars? I'm pretty sure Logan beats either Nelson or Devin in that elimination. There's been a lot of bad choices of opponent this season. I like that it's usually a mystery, other than hall brawl of course.
  5. You can never overestimate how much Jonathan Murray's personal life enters into how the entire RW/RR/Challenge franchise is run and adjudicated. Josh has been protected since his very first appearance when he lost in the first 10 minutes, and then wasn't sent home. If the show really thinks people didn't know Josh was gay...
  6. As others have already said it felt very heavy handed pushing the evil white homophobic, misogynistic narrative. I loved the part at the end where they tried to tell us that women shouldn't be blamed for going into the mosh pit and getting hurt. Most MEN don't belong in a mosh pit. Nobody's protecting you, it's classic assumption of the risk. Also, the only person that we actually heard about getting arrested for sexual assault during the doc was...a NY State prison guard. Woodstock '94 had major problems with mud, sanitation, infrastructure, etc. I knew people who bailed after a day because of it being a shitshow (pun intended). The same guys did the same thing five years later and somehow got even worse at putting on a festival. The bald dude is still defending they're crappy planning like he did everything right. I dislike Durst as much as the next guy but he didn't create the problems, they did. Final thought: When the guy was shown passing out candles in the first hour it might have been the most obvious foreshadowing I've ever seen. How was this allowed to happen? It's not like we didn't know what fire was in 1999.
  7. The Director, CT and Berenger all have the same agent. Might not be that big of a production.
  8. Every time somebody talks about Nany being a good competitor I have flashbacks to Melissa beating her in a physical elimination late in Total Madness while obviously pregnant.
  9. Remember the season Dario slept himself off the show. It was just too much work to try and stay compelling. You have to do something to get noticed. Some (like Ed or Amanda) figure it out early, and come in on fire. Others just completely miss the point of making the show watchable. You can stay quiet and fly under the radar if you're CT, or you need to make storylines for yourself. All that being said, I agree giving some of them a second chance after watching themselves might not be a bad idea. And a little money up front might go a long way to making them accept. But I don't think Jen Lee is coming back...
  10. FWIW Cory makes a comment afterwards about it going 3 hours. I couldn't stay bent over for 3 hours doing that. I don't know if he's ever going to develop cardio abilities, but he gets credit for not bailing mentally when they were getting buried at the beginning of the elimination. On the other hand I don't think he gets thrown in this week if he chilled a little, instead of trying to make the first move by targeting Ashley in the new stage of the game. People aren't that scared of him in a final, and nobody was the slightest bit concerned about Bettina. Now he may have cost her a free pass to the final as the designated female layup.
  11. I feel like that was the Fessy rehab cut by MTV. They really wanted us to be sad he was kicked off, but when they showed every guy besides Josh they were fighting hard not to laugh about it. CT, Nelson, Cory, Devin (because of Cory), they've all been sent home for violence in past seasons. That leaves Kyle and Josh as the only veteran guys it hasn't happened to yet. Kind of shocking Josh hasn't crossed the line at some point, like during the "what's 6 times 9" discussion. Amber came out really well through the whole thing. Fessy hates her, he's gone. Esther hates her, she's gone. Berna hates her, she's now the rookie pair with Hughire and marked for the next elimination. If she could learn math she'd clearly be everyone's choice for Finals partner due to her endurance. Of course if the previews weren't just screwing with us and Berna-Hughie win next week forget my last paragraph.
  12. I don't know if it's just the edit so far, but this is the first time I don't hate Amanda. They sure were pushing the "CT partners up with Emy" foreshadowing angle. Sometimes partners go home as well as the actual fighters. We could lose Fessy, Josh, Amber and Esther all at once, but I'm guessing just Fessy and Josh. Fessy will explain to the camera afterword that this doesn't really count and he's still made it to every final, and nobody has eliminated him. Priscilla really is playing one of the all-time "flying under the radar" games. I feel ,like that's about the second time we've seen heer speak in an episode.
  13. Might be easier to list what drugs/PEDS he isn't on now. I feel like he had a brief window in his second season where he was going to be a good character for the Challenge, now he's straight up eurotrash. I wondered if Tommy got his head bashed against the cave wall trying to swim through, but I'm not a concussion expert. I'm surprised the vets chose the weakest all rookie team to into elimination this early. Why not save them for later and take another shot at Michele and Corey since they came within a second of winning?
  14. That explains a lot about his personality.
  15. I'm a big fan of Fernando, but that really should have just been an hour. Way too slow moving for two hours.
  16. As Theresa once said: "It's easier to name the people Nany hasn't slept with."
  17. I kind of seemed they kept working on it day after day, and it really didn't go anywhere. Then all of the sudden it catches fire, big drama, and then it's all hallowed out and ready. I say Rylie should ferry everyone across (to keep the weight down), then leave Jeff alone on the wrong side to yell himself horse.
  18. I feel like Aneesa has pictures of Jonathan Murray with a goat. It's really the only explanation at this point. We seem to be down to 5 out of 38 being actual RW/RR people, or did I miss someone?
  19. The pilot episode of his San Diego season is a remarkable tour de force of Frank. I was stunned at the end that the producers had found such a goldmine of drama. People want to jump on Zach for how he treated worthless Sam on Battle of the Seasons, but Frank might have been worse.
  20. I've posted this before, but just in case anyone here hasn't seen it already. Seems to fit his character. https://myfox8.com/news/discovery-channel-reality-tv-star-sentenced-for-insurance-fraud/
  21. Sorry about that. I trusted the caption, rookie move. How about these pictures of EV instead.
  22. They both suck. The only person Easy beat on All-Stars was the wildebeest. He's still the only person to almost die in a final. And Ty in the pole thing elimination (I can't remember which season, it's been years) was almost as big a WTF just happened as Bananas backpack. I remember being stunned at how worthless he was compared to how he looked. On another topic; EV dominating Wes mentally isn't much of a surprise. She left the Challenge and went to law school at Harvard, Now works as an attorney in DC. Still only 34 years old.
  23. Matt's so good they have time/energy to make chairs, soap and camp signs. By the end of 60 days I'm expecting plumbing and electricity. Other people have been impressive over the years, but he's just ridiculous.
