  1. No, I get that and I'm for it. It definitely makes more sense but I thought we were being realistic. Do you really see that happening or do you see us sitting on our ass until the next one or 20 of these?
  2. If only they made glass to withstand such a thing......you may want to read up.
  3. I think we need smarter ideas here or did you skip over that part?
  4. Piggy backing off other ideas nationally and what happens at my kids school, one entry point will help a great deal. Outer doors locked, one entry point monitored by personnel. At my kids school you can enter the main door where you stand in a small lobby to speak with the person behind glass in the office but never have access to the school. I'm on camera, I have to answer several questions and they see me every fucking day. I'm never allowed in, they bring the kids out. If you want to arm that person screening entry, that's an option. Nothing will ever be 100% but we have to stop arguing in terms of black and white. The gun restrictions will continued to be argued for years, you can't take away what already exists. We can start protecting our kids immediately.
  5. Of course most everyone is beside themselves on this. But "MAGA pain"......come on. Republicans are despicable on this issue but so are almost all politicians. Security in schools should be started yesterday. TSA was created quickly with how many billions for a budget? This country can mobilize if it fucking feels like it. We choose to sit on our ass, so I get your anger but it should be directed at everyone IMO. Security......what does that look like? Arming teachers.....fuck no. Are we covering public and private schools with this funding? I say yes, these are our children damnit. Trained, armed security I'm good with. It doesn't have to be GI Joe at every door, hell you wouldn't even need to know the guy asking questions and buzzing people through locked doors was carrying. Give the schools the protections they need.....capable doors, cameras, trained personnel vetting entry. I'm for gun restrictions, have we seen something that makes complete sense there? Probably not. 18 year olds shouldn't be able buy ARs, they can't buy beer for good reasons. Lots of freedoms have restrictions, the second amendment can have some. Why can't we have certain rights with certain levels? I can't buy a nuclear bomb, some things are obvious but here we sit. Abbott spouting off the typical rhetoric is useless, I don't give a shit that "it's been the law for 60 years" in regards to being able to purchase at 18. Things change and they should. Protecting our children in school is the key part of this for me but obviously that doesn't solve all of the mass shootings.
  6. Dude, you’ve lost it.
  7. Tiger hasn’t lost his hands. If that leg can actually improve, he can still contend in the future. He’s has St Andrew’s circled and he’s playing the week before I believe. I’d be shocked if can make the cut at the US Open.
  8. He plays better like this haha. Hit 10 of 14 yesterday
  9. That isn’t a new normal.
  10. If Rory keeps that up, this thing is way over.
  11. Took care of business, losing to OU in the regional means absolutely nothing. Goal accomplished.
  12. Lili Simmons…..also a stellar body in season 1. Woody struck gold in that regard. Terrific tv overall, nobody is ever happy with the way things end.
  13. All four of our DL starters have performed at a 2 star level.
  14. Tim Floyd
  15. You felt the need to point out a label, you’re a dork. Your kid is not, he’s just being forced to dress like his father which is child abuse and you should feel bad.
  16. Didnt realize you were an Aggie. Lots of dots connecting
  17. Peter Millar is for dorks, congrats.
  18. This is our story. We were always given a diagnosis of it might be this, he’s a little bit this. Never anything concrete. For that reason, we were completely against medicating our child. My son’s behavior was nearly identical to the OP. Public school always seemed like a bad idea, our child wasn’t special needs but that’s where he would’ve been placed. Luckily we found a Montessori school that understood what we were dealing with and an amazing teacher who refused to give up on him. One day we shared our story with a friend who had MTHFR and a light went off for everyone. It wasn’t an overnight fix. Therapy proved to be a waste of time. It’s been a long road, your kid getting in trouble at school is frustrating. Hitting other kids for no reason is very tough as well. But if you saw the kid today, you’d never suspect we went through anything like we did.
  19. What are the qualifications for that job? Breathing?
  20. Career earnings maybe for Dufner?
  21. No, it doesn’t. The biggest issue I see is entitlement and unrealistic expectations. Folks entering the workforce aren’t willing to get ahead, put the work in to separate from peers. One huge fucking problem….they don’t have a skill set. They need that from the employer too. Learn, then make demands or address what you see is “unfair”
  22. Your response is equally predictable. That really doesn’t address the issue at all. More hot air
  23. You must not manage much of today’s workforce
  24. It’s kind of funny that an Ace adds pressure to your round. Nobody wants to say they fired up an 87 when they tell that story. Two Aces? You don’t want to be the guy that can’t break par if you do that haha
