  1. I don’t think Sark has discarded his love for taking shots. Some is game planning, clearly Helm was a huge emphasis. There’s also the fact that we have a 3rd year QB that understands what he’s looking at. Young players default to throwing deep when they don’t know where everyone is/should be.
  2. His arm strength was on full display on the TD pass before the half. That was a seed and the DB never had a chance to get near that thing. Just because he doesn’t wind up and throw rocket balls doesn’t mean he doesn’t let some throws rip. He’s putting it all together but a lot of this isn’t new.
  3. Ewers threw it at least twice. One called back for holding where he took a solid shot.
  4. This is not a good team. Barely getting a challenge on D
  5. A fantastic throw at a very tough angle. Absolute dime
  6. I’ll believe Smart suspends Etienne when I see it.
  7. Have to size down on the Classic Fit from Peter Millar. Tailored Fit should be true to size
  8. We need a third, inexperienced RB vs Michigan? Swell
  9. It's interesting that injuries robbed both Balbay and Brown of their potential. Balbay spent off-seasons rehabbing a knee and it kept him from improving his shot. I definitely wouldn't call Brown a "low IQ" player. He was terrific at seeing the floor (reckless, yes), understood spacing, entry passes and moving without the basketball. Obviously maturity (more than injury) was his biggest issue. Doj was a coach's dream, especially the one he played for. Guard recruiting was very interesting under Barnes. Lots of guys that were not strong ball handlers, couldn't beat anyone off the bounce or were weak shooters. Most of those toward the end of his tenure.
  10. I’d be surprised if Ace or Grubbs are starters but it’ll be nice to have competition
  11. Fantastic news on Flores. NIL put to very good use.
  12. As usual, you miss the point. A band-aid was applied for next season but that is not a long term strategy.
  13. Why would you waste that kind of money? Dude thrives on gas station burritos and wolf brand chili.
  14. Schloss will get to decide what he prefers, grass vs turf. Grass will be just fine in the shade, this isn’t the 70s or 80s.
  15. You’re making a lot of assumptions for all parties involved. Didn’t know you were an expert on Cook’s study habits
  16. He’s got major league type stuff but obviously struggles with command
  17. We all know Pierce was a terrific evaluator of the catching position….
  18. Don’t stop there. Slocum, Sumlin, Sherman, Mark Johnson…..casting wide nets
  19. You don’t really have the pulse of jack shit. Texas needs a lot to be “stacked”. That being said, bring it the fuck on!!!!!
  20. Heard Schloss required a train outside the fence and a lifetime supply of bubbles. I’m depressed we couldn’t meet the demands to have an atmosphere that awesome.
  21. The Disch still holds up, bones wise. Texas needs to invest and they will. Head coaching wise, very hard to imagine Vitello or Schloss. Vitello for obvious reasons, he acts like a child. There are plenty of great recruiters around the country. Texas doesn’t want a program like that.
