  1. Kimble has had zero good swings so far this series.
  2. Will got 3 slabs of meat in that AB.
  3. KU freshman pitcher has impressive numbers. And he gave up 8 ER in 3 innings against Houston last Saturday.
  4. True. And O'Dowd's .606 OPS would be the third worst in the conference if he had enough ABs to qualify. Borba would be right into the middle.
  5. Of the on-field action, or the KU guy feeling himself?
  6. Considering the hitting prowess of the rest of the line up, I'll take Dee's speed and defense in the 9 hole. O'Dowd is just as likely to run into one off the bench. No clue why Kennedy wasn't a defensive replacement last night.
  7. I really think he'd be better off if he could elevate the fastball. Velocity is still good, but it seems like hitters now have a better chance at fastballs just above the knees than at the top of the zone. I don't have any empirical data to back that up, however.
  8. Exhumed & Skeletal Remains 5/24 Tomb Mold & Horrendous 7/19 Mastodon & Lamb of God 7/25 Maiden (in Brooklyn) 11/2
  9. Tegan? I can see a freshman swinging at that but Porter Brown has to know that he has 0.00% chance of making contact
  10. I thought Gasparino's situational hitting was pretty good.
  11. Lummus reminds me of a cross between Billy Wagner, Randy Myers and Juan Marichal. But better.
  12. He dominated at South Carolina Upstate last year.
  13. O'Dowd "swings" at ball 4 to end the inning.
  14. Fuck yeah , Will! Not a terrible pitch, either.
