There are 25 "not an accident" entries. First, fuck all six non-payers in the goatass. Second, can you please boot out those six assholes? I had (incorrectly) assumed that all non-accidental entries in the standings were legitimate, but I would appreciate knowing the actual standings prior to the final game, as that obviously impacts strategy.
Selfishly, I'm really sad I won't ever get the chance to take Doomlet to see Bob. I had hoped to share that with him by now, but it just wasn't the right time yet. Maybe we can still catch Mickey somehow...
Whenever he had to describe his youngest sister's questionable decision-making and general lack of savvy, my dad would cite the fact that she once bought a set of encyclopedias from a door to door salesman.
Not at all the answer to my question, as episodes are ~15 minutes long and have limited "carryover" to the plotlines, but for anyone else looking for shows that appeal to a wide audience, we all really enjoy The Amazing World of Gumball. Bonkers humor aimed at all ages.
You've nailed the issue, and the reason for the thread. He was all in on Stranger Things (already wants to rewatch it) but I don't know of many similar shows that can appeal to the whole family (X-Files seems like the best option to me so far - serial story, but enough Monster of the Week stuff to keep him engaged).
I fought with it for 5 minutes in the Bingeable TV Shows for the Whole Family in the Movies & TV forum and couldn't get it to work (user error is possible - I don't necessarily find some of the contemporary "intuitive" design themes very intuitive...) , so I just entered a post to ignore, then separately made the post I wanted to make, and the software automatically merged them.
I love the "restore previous post" autopopulate option when replying, but I have noticed numerous times that the "clear previous post" option disappears almost immediately - certainly faster than I can ever tap on it. No big deal to delete most of the time, but when the previous draft to be deleted includes a quote of another post, it gets very difficult to delete everything in order to start fresh.
Pekin, IL (the town where dad is from) is racist as fuck. Their high school mascot used to be "The Chinks" (Pekin/Peking, get it?) but it was changed to "The Dragons" in 1980 and people there are still salty about it.
