  1. New installation passed muster during Morning Dog Patrol.
  2. I've been using it intermittently all day and haven't had any issues until checking just now. I think it's probably still going to have some growing pains here and there with such a precipitous acceleration in its userbase.
  3. By obliging. Edit - this was a shitty, knee-jerk way to respond. I don't want anyone deported (save perhaps actual dangerous criminals), but if it happens, I wish it would somehow start with the people who affirmatively voted for it.
  4. Two barriers of shitty little wire fencing plus a sentinel posted. It was on the porch all along, but used as a sort of "booster" to prop up and position the husks. I'm a little bit nervous about whether either of them will survive. The Smiley Face is hanging together by a thread. The rest of the gang is now safely ensconced in the back garage until next season.
  5. So just to double down on the voodoo shit, I kept one potato from the Halloween bag (it's already started to sprout!) and the little Post It note that I used to tally Potato Popularity, and I figured those things should be inserted inside one of the Demon Gourds for the winter. It's gross as hell in there already. Weird tiny bugs came flying out when I picked it up.
  6. It's Moving Day, when the husks go back into garage storage and the new crop moves from the front of the house to the Putrefication Copse in the back yard. But first, a few pictures of the new guys in the days following Halloween - the two colorful ones are getting destroyed by squirrels and perhaps other varmints. I threw down a little Victor-brand sachet of stinky minty shit the other day to discourage varmintry, and the little assholes ripped into that too. And the one that leaked scum all over the porch is just shrinking down into nothingness. Here's the bottom of Leathery Peanut Shell, and the teeming mass of life from underneath. I'm not entirely certain which picture is which.
  7. The Andy Reid "fumblerooskie" ad wasn't funny to start with, and it certainly isn't funny anymore.
  8. Perhaps some form of constructive discharge and/or hostile work environment may be in play, but that's shit you need to talk to subject matter experts about, not our motley collection of spitballers.
  9. I don't remember the site name anymore (ultimately decided to go with the E63 wagon for my final garage space instead) but when I was considering a 911, I know that there was a similar aggregate site somewhere - maybe something like pcarauction.com or some such? I couldn't find it with a cursory search from my phone (pcarmarket is the closest I could find, and that's not it) but I would be surprised if it ceased to exist. There's also the classified section on Rennlist - I would poke around there too.
  10. I have no idea what the pattern is actually called, but I like the "Greek diner paper coffee cup" trim on your helmets.
  11. OP isn't wrong, but sowing apathy among those who know better is the entire point of this specific phase of the downward spiral that ultimately lets the shitheads win.
  12. Muslim leaders acknowledge the possibility of leopards. https://www.reuters.com/world/us/muslims-who-voted-trump-upset-by-his-pro-israel-cabinet-picks-2024-11-15/
  13. Perhaps you've considered this, but you're likely also trading your wife, and definitely trading your kids in that scenario.
  14. I don't know what you expect out of the savages in row 37...
  15. I'm not sure how or why you inferred that I'm somehow opposed to cannibalism.
  16. Ha! Same on all counts... I like octopus, but gave up eating it a long time ago. They're just too cool and too smart for me to not be a little bothered by it. I've converted a few people along the way. I also realize and acknowledge that makes me a bit of a hypocrite because I still eat plenty of pork products, and pigs are pretty smart too.
  17. Not sure if you're referring to me or Tim Coulson (I haven't; can't speak to Coulson...), but it's not exactly a huge leap for a stoned brain to consider what sort of unknown extraterrestrial entity might have a vested interest in us ruining our planet by melting the ice caps. An equally obvious criticism is that any space-faring civilization could likely microwave Earth more easily and efficiently that planting the seeds of humanity and letting evolution do the rest, but I would counter that the reign of humanity (and perhaps even the existence of Earth itself - Big Bang was 14 billion years ago, while Earth is "only" 4.5 billion years old) is pretty goddamn brief in a cosmic time scale.
  18. This could go in any number of different threads, but given what we're doing to the planet, I've occasionally wondered if humanity is just a terraforming tool for some long-lived and technologically advanced underwater species - perhaps direct relatives (or employers?) of the octopus. This article and it's predictions and conclusions (scientifically disreputable source acknowledged) all seem pretty straightforward that if humanity is wiped out, the octopus is in the on-deck circle for control of the planet. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14085209/Scientists-reveal-creature-rule-Earth.html
  19. Perhaps this is old news (I generally avoid this thread when I am behind in watching the races, which is almost all the time...) but I saw that Monaco will officially no longer be on the same day as the Indy 500 and the Coca-Cola 600. That is (was) my favorite day of the year. Doomlet was almost born on that day, and if he was, we would have named him Miles (as in 1,261 miles of racing that day) and those fucking bastards currently in charge of modern F1 fucking ruined it. Pieces of shit.
  20. https://federal-lawyer.com/whistleblower-lawyers/fda/ Can't vouch for these people, but they might be worth contacting. Keep/generate/maintain a paper trail and document shit from now on. Keep a dated log book with notes and observations and whatever else. Don't trust your memory to put it all together later on down the road. Keep in mind that you currently have absolutely no standing whatsoever for a wrongful termination claim, given that you remain employed... Good luck.
