Yeah, this show had a difficult task in remaining faithful to the existing story/world/lore while also educating the unfamiliar, and overall, I feel like the multiple storylines are too ambitious to do properly in this amount of time. One of King's talents is his character development, and there's just not enough opportunity to do that justice here either.
I don't hate this show, but it's a mess. I hope there's more (and better) stuff coming, but I won't be holding my breath.
@Scheiss Meister I will eventually do the coins in jars experiment and will let you know. But in the meantime, I'm going to continue comfortably living with plausible deniability.
Have you ever seen a boot? I've heard powerful toilets figuratively described as being able to flush a boot, and I assume that's just not possible unless we're talking about some toddler sized, but I figured you could give confirmation.
These are the ones I use while traveling.

They claim to be plant-based and biodegradable. Is that just marketing bullshit?
I'll sign up and pay by Saturday at least for myself, probably for the Doomlet as well.
Can't wait to see what new decrement in design and performance those shitheads at ESPN will work into the user dashboard this year.
Did you intentionally omit "slave labor in deadly working conditions to sloppily build stadiums at breakneck speed" or am I getting this mixed up with the Olympics?
Couldn't agree more.
I often think to myself that I was born about 20 years too late, at least insofar as my disdain and frustration towards technology.
I shit you not, he wanted to talk about career possibilities over dinner tonight. He was all about identifying the job with the most money and the least work. Options I can recall he pondered include NBA player, YouTube personality known for sitting on the couch and playing video games, grocery store worker, and unspecified musician. He doesn't play anything, but he has a very good ear like his mother and aunt and they're both skilled musicians, so I've long believed that this is where his bread may be buttered once he gets introduced to/interested in an instrument.
Oh, and he also mused about becoming president.
