  1. I don't necessarily know whether Harry ever intended to let Freddie live after that meeting - the bit about how he and Kevin are going to push Conrad and Maeve aside and would he like a seat at the table just seemed like a lie designed to extract maximum information. So I don't think it's clear whether Freddie's death is directly tied to the identity of the renegade. I also thought it could go either way with Fisk and his partner either being deliberately killed, or that it came as a surprise (though perhaps not that much of a surprise?). Probably a bit of a stretch, but Colin could also be working on behalf of the Harrigans, and could have put this plan in place because the task force was getting too close to them.
  2. I suspected that the person "from Harry's organization" who is involved in the Fentanyl dealings was Harry's sidekick (the dude, not Xosia) since he was so hot to go get involved with things even after Harry told him to stay put. I agree that Brosnan's acting leaves a bit to be desired (though I think that, like Maeve, the character is foolish and hard to take seriously) but I also wonder if that's intentional such that we almost view Conrad as an oblivious buffoon who doesn't realize that his time is over.
  3. She’s a daywalker - a bit darker than that. He's a fine blend of both her and my brand of crazy.
  4. I get the reasoning - kind of an unwinnable situation no matter what he did. I would rather go down swinging than just sit by and get bumped, but I am not an engineer and I don't know the full scope of risk related to the heat sink issues...
  5. Big balls on Peenus Reekay. I like that kid.
  6. I am well beyond my threshold of tolerance for Will. Buxton. And all of. His. Pregnant. Pauses.
  7. Reasonable enough explanation from Tim Cindric. Lots of A&M commercials airing here in Chicago during this broadcast.
  8. I love the Ghost Car usage though.
  9. FOX has no fucking idea how to efficiently use space within the on-screen graphics. Giant cartoon picture of the driver isn't more helpful than the cut-line info for what we're doing right now, idiots.
  10. Penske cheating again by making unapproved adjustments???
  11. Still somewhat common in my neighborhood, thankfully. Younger kids also dingdong ditch.
  12. The last guy was creepy, too. ~~~~~ "Don't forget - there's Ultras on the line."
  13. The women in Harry's life sure are foolish. I guess we're supposed to believe that he's so excellent at keeping them in the dark that they're both blindly incompetent? Also, I have a very hard time taking Paul seriously because whenever he's on screen, I can't help but imagine him as Mac from Always Sunny.
  14. It may be intolerant of me on some implicit, subconscious level, but the idiotic look on her shopping companion's face instantly enrages me every time. And then I always have the same follow up thought - I sure am glad that that doofus was born in the current era, because life probably would not have been very kind to them in the not-too-distant past.
  15. Huh. I'm now confused. How were we supposed to understand that was a flashback? And wasn't there another scene later in the episode when the Wolves were all standing around and admiring the barrier they had welded into place to keep the one access point stairwell closed off? I don't understand how that would even matter if it was a flashback, but maybe that will become clearer later. Not interested in having anyone spoil anything by confirming or denying, but when Nora was given her little defiant pre-bludgeoning speech, she said something that caught my attention - "she does exist" or similar. Made me wonder if somehow Ellie is the mythical female that all the Scarfaced Amish are worshipping, and if so, perhaps they provide the deus ex machina that allows Ellie to overthrow the Wolves and all their seemingly superior logistical and firepower advantages.
  16. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your misunderstanding, and there might be multiple spore factories with some being much older than others, but the Korean guy/factory had "L. PARK" on his jacket, and his mother (also last name Park) talked about him dying down there as part of the scout team.
  17. "LOOK AT THIS HOT RODDER!!!" cracks me up every time.
  18. The inscription on Mrs. Doom's Mother's Day card. *she is not bald - has lovely, thick, curly, auburn hair.
  19. I find him hypnotically weird looking.
  20. Enshittification of search engines in action.
  21. Put a quarter in your ass because you played yourself.
