Whatever crud was attached to the comet or meteorite that spawned life on Earth was a Von Neumann probe created by some other unknowable species of assholes and we are just the current iteration and someday we (or whatever "we" and our DNA is by that time) will launch our own variation on the theme. It's our flawed and myopic perception of time/time scales that makes this seem improbable upon initial consideration.
Rinse and repeat.
This happy coincidence of having the same plane for both the first and the second leg of air travel takes some of the usual annoyance out of connecting in PHX.
Spend the $5-10 on a sticker for your bin. I wanted to make my own sign promising to feed the poop to anyone using my can for their dog's poop but Mrs. Doom pointed out that it wasn't very neighborly, and that some people may be too oblivious to understand why this is bothersome.
So we bought a large sticker for the lid of our can and haven't had a problem since.
Either too low and blocked by houses, or too much light pollution in suburban Chicago. I suspect the former, as Venus was readily visible.
Will try again.
Yeah, it's almost perfect. The only (very minor) drawback is that the end of the strap can kind of stick out sometimes, but I have fairly small wrists, so larger wrists might not have the same issue due to less "extra" strap hanging out.
I hated the stock strap.
I have the Moon variant on this strap and wouldn't change a thing.
