  1. Borat and Lloyd Christmas are all-timers.
  2. If it was warmer, his nuts might get caught in the chain.
  3. Doomlet has pooped three times since coming home from school, and Mrs. Doom asked him if he was feeling okay. His response was, "Yeah, I'm just feeling really laxative today."
  4. Holy Jesus F. Longcat!
  5. You just doxxed yourself, Veena.
  6. More. The two GT4 RSs were owned by a husband and wife. I admit that am a huge fan of wagons and I'm at odds with the buying public, but I refuse to believe that GM couldn't sell 10k of these Buick wagons per year if they figured out how to stuff an LS in there and beef up the handling.
  7. More. *red 911 is a Ruf. El Camino has Sparcos and fat rear tires.
  8. Went to the SCCA Runoffs at RoadAmerica yesterday and took a bunch of pictures. Some are probably better for the other "modern" thread, but I think it's stupid that we have two car threads and I'm not going to bother splitting them up.
  9. Revolving doors, too.
  10. $41k on BaT a few years ago. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1920-apperson-jackrabbit/ An amusing comment from the listing:
  11. Wisconsinites take drinking very seriously. It's a significant part of their culture. The thing I question most is Clark County, Nevada. Here’s a map from a different data source.
  12. Visually speaking, it looks like if you take away 20 IQ points from Patrick Swayze, he turns into Don Swayze, and if you then take 20 IQ points away from Don, he turns into Theo Von.
  13. Can someone please provide me with the link to a short essay that was posted here within the last couple of months? I can't remember enough of it to effectively search for it. It was written as a letter from a father to his son from some time in the future, and the father explains how in hindsight, he was too busy to notice and/or didn't give much credence to the slow creep of fascism when it was happening, and how it never feels as apparent in the moment as we assume it must have to people in past instances for whom we have the benefit of hindsight to judge their actions. The letter also goes on to give advice about some friend and/or sexual partner who is fleeing persecution or some such thing, taking care to only refer to them by initials, lest the letter get intercepted by the bad guys. Little help?
  14. Man, can you imagine doing 75 in that? What an experience that must have been.
  15. Yeah, all of this is either confusing or wholly defies both credibility and reality. Plot twists and machinations are one thing, but all this is just frustrating writing and/or atrocious editing. While this show is leagues better than The Killing, it also features Mireille Enos. Perhaps she's some kind of supernatural entity that destroys coherent plotlines.
  16. I believe he was also in a commercial for Chee-Zits.
  17. It's also Biden's fault for letting him win the first time. If he hadn't stepped out of the way to make room for the only person in the entire goddamn world who could have lost that election to Donald Trump, we'd all be living in Shangri-La right now.
  18. Aren't you an architect or similar?! Also, today is October 2nd.
