  1. Thanks man, appreciate it.
  2. Yep and, back when we booked them, it was all we could find and we didn't want to stay in Atlanta...also thought some of our kids might go and use them, if we didn't stay in 'em. We initially wanted to try this cool place some of our Ole Miss friends told us about - https://stayathbnb.com, but it was $2,500+/night when we looked at it...so that was a neg. Needless to say, eating these isn't sounding that great.
  3. We booked two (2) rooms in Athens for Fri & Sat night a long time ago, but then we found another spot. Not cheap (nothing was, as you've probably seen), but here's the deal and we are simply looking to get our money back: SpringHill Suites by Marriott Athens West - https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/ahnsh-springhill-suites-athens-west/overview Nights of November 14th (Fri) & 15th (Sat) - $750/night (per room) Studio King Rooms - King bed & sofa bed (sleeps 3)
  4. Do people on here really give a shit where tired-ass GameDay goes? Are you actually getting up, after a late night before, and going out there early morning to watch the McAfee clown show? I give absolutely zero fucks whether those guys are there or not...I just want to beat these obnoxious barking whiners. UGA fan has become pretty insufferable.
  5. It has been a while since we watched it, but thought it was really good. Scott is solid...super creepy.
  6. As someone mentions above, the episode with Dinklage was really great. Solid show.
  7. I was on the west side and felt like the renovations made little, if any, difference. Concourse was still a complete shitshow. Not only did people squeezing into the rows and standing at the top of the aisles create a problem, some dumbass girls were also sitting at the top of the section steps, on each side, at halftime. As a result, it was basically single-file out of there. Of course, no ushers anywhere, so gave each of them a swift kick in the knees on the way to piss...I kid, but considered it. Getting into the stadium was better this year, since it seemed like they had more ticket-scanners at the gate. As someone mentions above, dunking the orange towels in the beer boxes was nice. At the end of the game, the glare caused by the bare aluminum on the south side made it difficult to see our victory formation plays. Do not fix. Damn it was fun.
  8. Agreed, we think Atlas is the best place in town. We've had some good/fun meals at Leverett Lounge as well. Maxine's is a great bar (near Atlas).
  9. Solid lineup. Went to Saffron not long ago and it was great. And, Shaya is also a favorite. Have heard good things about Gianna but, if you are wanting Italian, consider Osteria Lupo too (Uptown on Magazine, so in the vicinity of some of these)...had a great meal at the bar there last year.
  10. Hmm, did you perhaps just get your latest issue of the AARP mag? I can ask, since I'm an old. Glad to see she looks better in the pictures, than on the show...had assumed they made her look as rough as possible.
  11. Yep, those damn things were scary as shit.
  12. That young man and his family can suck badonk. Enjoy shitstain Waco.
  13. I'm having a hard time getting too wound up about any kid that is seriously considering tired ass Baylor. Please...fuck Baylor.
  14. Agreed, my eyes were bleeding. Turned it off at half...it was not a tough decision and had little doubt about the outcome.
  15. Someone above mentioned The Taste of Everything, but I think they meant The Taste of Things and we just saw it. If you are into food/cooking and don't mind subtitles, check it out.
