  1. In addition to The Grey, we also liked: Atlantic Back In the Day Bakery
  2. Had a good dinner at The Grey when we were there.
  3. Agreed. This one is so damn good.
  4. The mason jars were at Uncle Susu's, but I can't remember what the drinks were called.
  5. Yep, that was also when the aforementioned keg toss incident occurred, but I thought it was 1984/1985. Regardless, thankfully, the keg didn't make it all the way to the float, but I think it may have hit a car that was parked at a meter in front of the Woo.
  6. 1984. Also Room 610. Lat, was it the second to the last room on the left/drag side (my memory is fading, but I'm pretty sure that was the number)? If so, I'm sorry about everything that happened in there in '84. Also, I witnessed the keg launch. Pretty sure it came off the 3rd floor, but not positive.
  7. Same here on the 1's and end zone options. I can't fathom why someone would pony up that much for season tix at field level, since those will be atrocious. That said, some idiots that go to the games to yack, sit on their hands (or in the club A/C) or be seen, will think it's cool. Also, the "living room" section made me laugh. I'm all for a south end zone renovation and upgrade of facilities (especially where important for recruiting), but my happy ass ain't moving from Section 6 and I'm worried about a mass influx of non-fan douchebaggery into these new south end areas.
  8. I just spent way too long on that survey as well. While I'm all for south end zone renovations and other upgrades that we know are necessary for recruiting purposes, I just don't give a damn about club/box seating and I'm worried about adding more seats, when we already have problems filling the stadium as is. Also, sticking a bunch of people (or corporate douches) in new club/box seats will continue to undermine the stadium atmosphere. We already have lots of empty seats during games in the east side club seats and north end zone club areas, in part because a lot of those people sit inside in the A/C bullshitting, instead of out in their seats watching the friggin game. And yes, not playing scorching Sept day games might help. Since the survey also touches on game day atmosphere, we also need to address the student section/attendance issues. In part because I sit on the west side, I always enjoy watching a big rowdy student section and the game atmosphere is best when the students are there in force, liquored-up and loud. However, as many have discussed, our student sections have become less than stellar, but that's a whole different issue. Clearly we need a south end upgrade, but I have absolutely zero interest in sitting there, regardless of price points. Hell, you couldn't pay me to sit at field level and not be able to see anything. I guess some might find that experience cool...once, but no way I'd want crazy-expensive season tix there. Especially now that we have beer, I'm there to watch the damn game and do everything else (eat, hang out, socialize, etc.) before and after. Typing this confirmed I am old as shit.
  9. Hate it and have absolutely no real clue, but am concerned this is the case.
  10. Yep, good product (especially the Lowball) + Austin folks = I'm still in
  11. Yep, totally agree and have always enjoyed brunch at CP. They do it right.
  12. Sullivan's Island is really cool. Skip Folly.
  13. Had somehow never heard of Graeter's until reading about it here, but saw some at the store recently and snagged a pint of Coconut Chocolate Chip. It's damn good.
  14. This. Leon's is great. Also, enjoyed Rodney Scott's and Husk. Excellent food city.
  15. Jack was getting dusty too. Damn that was neat.
  16. Man, that was really cool. The replay of the kid watching the shot, with Player talking in the background, was great.
  17. U2 Go Home is a pretty damn good one too.
  18. I was wary, but really enjoyed the movie. That said, it has been a long time since I read the book, so that probably factored in. Also, can't imagine how many references I totally whiffed on, but sure there were a bunch I completely missed.
