  1. Just randomly caught the pilot on Comedy Central. Grabbed this shot of Jerry's getup to remind you mfers how old you are. Not sure why they didn't give Claire (waitress at the diner, not Monk's) more of a shot. She was pretty likeable.
  2. 13 of last 17 on the road and went 12-5, losing the first 3 by a combined 7 points.
  3. I like to throw Gremlins into the Die Hard/is it a Christmas movie (it is) argument.
  4. I saw Ol' Roy dog food at Kroger tonight and said there's no way that's real. Kept walking.
  5. Great (and obvious) point about PJ @gsoda3. We're so deep that when we miss guys I don't even think about it sometimes unless it's Luka or Ky. But PJ is invaluable indeed.
  6. We were kinda due for that beating. Oh well. Silver lining is OKC showed all their cards. Won't be any defensive scheme surprises come playoff time. The opposite of a silver lining is that my daughter went and I got to pay.
  7. Fat fuck Kendrick taking veiled shots at Luka and Ky on the pregame. Said Brunson and KAT are the "best duo in the league" and said it didn't take them 50 games to figure out how to play together. Fat and dumb is a bad combination.
  8. That was part of my "hardest to defend" point. Most of his overhead passes are ugly as shit too. Doesn't make them bad. But they're coming out of bully shit. If the easy bucket is there he's taking it (75% of the time). If not he's probably going to the line. Otherwise, open 3 (hopefully Russ).
  9. Love the dude. Like, really love him, but his style is ass. I get the MVPs, but if you try to call him "the best player in the world" you're a fucking idiot. There's a mile between the "best player" and the hardest to defend, as these NBA refs work. Bully ball is trash but it works. Just ask Lebron.
  10. I literally said it on this thread on October 28th. And you liked it. Everything's gonna be ok.
  11. You could see early season struggles coming from a mile away. And that wasn't even factoring in injuries. When this team puts it all together it's going to be fun.
  12. Forgot this was a "learn me" thread so I probably should have included a few more details. I used 2.25 lbs of 80/20 to make 10 balls. Wanted 85/15 to keep them together a little better but I couldn't find any at the store. The rest was standard. Smashed to a quarter inch and seasoned (Lawry's), added 'murika cheese after flipping, stacked and pulled once the cheese melted. Buttered and griddled the buns as well. I don't think I'd be worth a shit using a cast iron skillet unless it was huge. The key was having a razor sharp griddle spatula to get under the crust and not leave any on the grill. Stole that from the BA video a few posts up. Oh, and I used this cupcake stand I found in a cabinet on top of parchment (sprayed with cooking spray) to smash. Worked perfect.
  13. Took my first shot at them this evening in the Blackstone. Got it for Father's Day and have barely used it because of the heat and the fact that I'm a damn mosquito magnet. Not a great picture but it was honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Got lucky and nailed the crust, the lace, the seasoning, all of it. I was stressing because i was trying to time five burgers (so ten patties) at the same time. Not pictured: burger sauce, grilled onions, japs.
  14. @Brisketexan will get a kick out of this. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8L9sTv8/
  15. Been meeting a client for happy hour at Hudson House a bunch lately. Awesome $10 cheeseburgers and $3 oysters to go with half price martinis. Three of us the other night ordered nine martinis, two cheeseburgers, and a dozen oysters and I think it was $120.
  16. Yeah to your point @WinningIsHard, if I had to bet I'd say it's just going to be four more years of golfing and grifting. Amazing that we're at a point where that's what people are hoping for.
