  1. Week isn’t anywhere near long enough but I like the strategy of going into Crimea instead of up the Azov coastline to cut off Crimea supply lines reducing RU to only one way to resupply. That would also pretty much force pulling most troops out of Donbas to protect Crimea. Lose control of the Kerch Straight and taking Mariupol was all for not. If land resupply to Sevastopol is severed can Putin’s regime survive?
  2. It is estimated that would require 2 million occupying troops for about 20 years.
  3. He’s stated multiple times over the past weeks that he is in Canada. Trolls trying to shutdown his feed.
  4. It would have been even better if UKR said it was time to retake what was theirs.
  5. I believe the troops that surrendered were well documented by the Red Cross. What RU is saying about the prisoners, for domestic consumption, and what they will actually did are likely different.
  6. This up until RU screwed themselves by obviously screwing with UKR grain and making it clear RU intends to control food supply to North Africa and the Middle East to control those areas. Europe is still dealing with aftermath of mass emigration, due to famine, from those areas. RU and UKR combined is about 25% of world’s grain supply. The grain as a weapon play was when the anti-ship missiles and HIMARs flood gates opened to UKR. There was no longer a let RU bog down for 20 years a la in Afghanistan option after that.
  7. It is about denying RU the last city east of the Siverskyi Donets in Luhansk Oblast that Russia doesn’t hold so RU can’t declare Luhansk a breakaway state. Holding RU forces there and destroying them with artillery from the high ground across the river is a long term plus.
  8. Story is shaping up as UAF retreated in their regular pattern but the foreign volunteer SOF, with urban combat experience, stayed and laid an ambush/trap.
  9. It isn’t aimed at the west, it is aimed at making the people of Donbas believe UKR is attacking them.
  10. Reports that RU is starting to shell RU held cities in the Donbas to blame UAF.
  11. May have been a case of watching RU’ s work arounds to see who all is involved and in what way?
  12. To make sure it didn’t fall into RU hands if UAF collapsed. It is now being doled out at the training rate for the new weapons.
  13. How many new movie scripts does JD get sent this evening?
  14. Which means they likely just used whatever AH asked for.
  15. Apparently, you can’t enter/dock in a foreign harbor without proof of insurance. Few RU ships will have insurance as of tomorrow.
  16. So, they get the 100 mile range Himars missiles but not the 200 mile ones?
  17. Capturing Mykolaivka means UKR has pushed all the way to the Dnipro River, east of Kherson, and control any westbound traffic over the Kakhovka Dam. Now if they can blow up both the road and rail bridge over the Dnipro into Kherson the RU troops there are cut off from land resupply at the least and possibly lose the ability to retreat.
  18. There is a RU dissent that has predicted those penal colonies will be the next ‘Stans to breakaway. His premise is you can’t congregate that many people that already hate you together and not have them revolt at first opportunity.
