  1. Then you'd need 300K troops in Ukraine for decades to occupy it.
  2. https://twitter.com/carlbildt/status/1502143049270538240?s=20&t=i8FzgWqRaF_1OXHmiwc0Ug
  3. About the huge lines at VS in Russia yesterday Liisigrass @R_Liisi Vene kodanik Victoria's Secreti poodide sulgemise kohta: "… It hurts a little to look at all this … Will we not see high-quality beautiful lingerie for a long time? Do you know what we will wear and buy now? I’m just shocked.” Okei. 12:17 AM · Mar 11, 2022·Twitter for Android
  4. I'm going to say that one is new as there haven't been clear skies in at least a week.
  5. This is the one that gives me hope Putin will be removed. Oligarchs will want their previous life back.
  6. There's been in uptick in tank stuck in mud videos todays. Guessing Bayraktar got them spooked enough to try stay away from UA citizen eyeballs reporting their location.
  7. Bovary had a big tank battle recently so KIA is possible.
  8. Roomate had a Galaxie 500 and yes we were able to fit 9 people in the trunk which was as big as as the bed of my Toyota Hilux pickup Hilux Eruption.
  9. When I was reading up on where to donate the Canadian Red Cross is high on the reputable list because Canada has a large Ukrainian diaspora and experience delivering aid to that part of the world. https://snyder.substack.com/p/some-new-ways-to-help-ukrainians?utm_campaign=cta&s=r
  10. Remind me to never shoulder check and always pick up that dude's tab.
  11. Need to find the article from the past week about that Putin is still operating a vertical economy, most stuff is in a few sectors, and RU military doctrine is a left over from the vertical economy era while the rest of the world is moving to a horizontal economy around technology and innovation. The places that are providing cheap tech labor are starting to have a middle and upper middle class. Basically the modern version of a rising tide lifts all boats.
  12. Feeding RU false info so they keep sending troops into a meat grinder?
  13. Reports that RU factories are already shutting down from lack of parts thanks to modern 'on time' logistics reducing the need for warehouses.
  14. Already donating to these groups- https://snyder.substack.com/p/some-new-ways-to-help-ukrainians?utm_campaign=cta&s=r
  15. Major General Mick Ryan Brought up this point as well. 55% of RU's total ground forces are committed in Ukraine, we had 25% in Iraq, where do you pull reinforcements from and what are you leaving undermanned/unguarded as a consequence. He's also predicting RU will have to double their entire ground forces as they are going to need 300K just to occupy Ukraine and rotate forces.
  16. Reading retired Major General Mick Ryan's twitter he said to plan was too complex, particularly forces from four different starting places meeting up, and RU didn't bring enough troops to accomplish it. Which gets back to yes man or fall out of a building. EDIT- didn't mean to long cat dude's twitter on here
  17. With Rubio's disciple in being the DoD's mouth piece lately I wouldn't be so sure that wasn't a propaganda red herring. I have a hard time believing Rubio suddenly went off on his own. I suspect those tweets were time delayed.
  18. After the previous experience with the RU they put in a lot of old fashion wired lines.
