Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - Helobious Is Getting Those Wrists Ready For Heavy Work
Don’t love USC showing up in the Coleman sweepstakes out of nowhere, given their history of throwing out insane offers.

They don’t want Baker to leave, but they need to have one more guy that can play tackle. I think they are promising Baker that he’ll be in their top 5 OL next year, but they can’t promise him that he’ll be a top 2 tackle. In the scenario that Baker is at G next year, Goosby is still the LT. I bet they are talking to him about versatility - put some guard on tape for the NFL then we’ll swing you out to LT for your contract year in 2027.

IMO y'all are way too in the weeds regarding who plays where on the OL. As it stands right now, they aren't 100% sure that Goosby will return, and even if he does, it's likely that there are exactly two tackles on the entire roster that they trust. They need a number at OT, and if you end up with 3 guys that can play, fine. Worry about putting your best 5 on the field later.

Whit and the new OL coach aren’t exactly bums and Michigan isn’t lacking for money. I find it surprising, too. These seem like guys they’d be working hard to keep.

So what you’re saying is he has college eligibility? Crime if we don’t at least bring him in for a visit, IMO

Wonder if Zina is a risk to bail now that his brother is gone.

I’m guessing the scouting process takes longer for stuff like OL. You don’t really need to do a lot of in depth analysis to know you want Cam Coleman on your team.

I'll be happy to hold the 1st place money for you if you can't track Harold down. Thanks again for organizing this. Hopefully we can do it again next year.

Bijan Robinson is special
We are so lucky that he played for us and represents our university.

Needed big games from Stafford and Pitts, so of course Stafford literally had negative points at halftime and Pitts one catch. Oh well, at least I didn’t need to stay up late for this bullshit.

I can't say I watched Florida this year other than our game with them. Not gonna rewatch that because I don't hate myself that much but my recollection is that he looked solid but not like holy shit look at this 1st round guy. It was an honest question because it does seem that he's being pretty highly coveted.

Is Hawkins a home run hitter? Based upon my thorough 2.5-minute analysis, that seems like the type of compliment that Baugh would need. Also, Cooper and the white boy sounds like the name of a really dumb drivetime FM radio show. Insert fart noise here.

Sorry if this has been discussed already, but how good actually is Baugh? His stats don't exactly jump off the page at you. One thing that sticks out to me is a season long of 26 yards. Of the top 50 rushers in CFB, that's 50th. It came in the first game of the season against something called Long Island University.

Definitely true. But IMO Occam's Razor points to Sark deciding to give Flood at least one more year. Interesting that Gerry is emphatic about OL scheme fit in that article posted by @BurntOrange&White just above us. Whose scheme?

But why would Sark let Flood twist in the wind if that's the decision that's been made? I'm just not following the logic.

Keeping Kyle Flood so that he can coach in a meaningless exhibition game doesn't make a lick of sense. Are people really claiming that's the reason? The reason we haven't fired Flood yet is because he's not going to be fired. Let's see, a guy that had 12 catches and was injured all year, or our bellcow running back that everyone in CFB is trying to entice into the portal. Florida braintrust working hard on this one.

I very briefly considered Taysom over Kyle Pitts but didn't go through with it. One of my rare smart moments. I'm a big underdog tonight anyway. Down 42 points with just Stafford and Pitts left to go. I'm not dead dead, but they'd both need to have pretty big games. Frustratingly, the difference may end up being the Raiders' absolutely pathetic offense (opponent used NYG defense and it paid off).
