tAll Encompassing Disney Thread
Yeah everyone says the Christmas party is cool, but we did Disneyland for spring break this year and my 8 year old never made it all the way to the fireworks. She crashes hard. We'll see. Not seeing anything about Runaway Railway at first glance. I do know that Big Thunder Mountain is gonna be closed while we're there, which is a bummer.

Thanks. You and @mdmost crush this thread. We're staying at Wilderness Lodge. Four days in the parks but I think we're skipping Animal Kingdom. Maybe two days in Hollywood, can't remember what my wife said. We're also doing the Christmas party one night. The mouse fucking owns my ass right now (but it's gonna be awesome, I'm pumped). edit: for MK and HS, the strategy I came up with on my own is pretty similar to what you have. I've got Epcot fucked up though. Didn't realize that Guardians is the best ride. The plan I came up with was to rope drop Test Track, get a multipass for Remy's, and buy a single pass for Guardians. What do you think?

Oh cool. I was hoping that discussion of the 10-year-old would keep going for a bit.

Thanks. What’s your strategy with the single pass rides? Do you just book those for whenever, or is it better to rope drop those rides so you can ride them for “free” and then do a LL later in the day if you want to ride it again. My kids are 11 and 8 btw but are down for any ride Disney can throw at them (coasters, etc).

Individual seats? You sound poor. It is high time that some forward-thinking visionary builds the first ever luxury suite-only stadium. Think of the monetization!

Texas Rangers 2025-2026 Offseason
We could've traded Seager to the Dodgers for Clayton Kershaw to guarantee ourselves the first pick.

Dallas Cowboys 2025 season thread: 8-9 and divine. The world according to Jerry
The Athletic's simulator has the Cowboys at 53% to make the playoffs if they win out. Single digits percentage if they go 3-1.

@mdmost is there a website with straightforward Lightning Lane strategies for WDW? We used disneylanddaily.com for visiting Disneyland but their info doesn't seem as updated or complete for Disney World. I liked it because it basically just had a simple list with optimal strategy.

Citrus Bowl, Dec 31st - Texas vs Michigan.
Every one of you knows that you’ll be in the game thread bitching the whole time just like the rest of us. Don’t nobody posting on this website act like you’re too cool for exhibition football.

Regarding deflation, remember that these are the same people who have never been able to wrap their heads around progressive tax rates. "If I get a raise I'll actually LOSE money!!!"

What impact will Trump have on the 2026 World Cup?
I just realized that I get to listen to my in laws talk about soccer for the next year because Trump thinks it’s cool now.

2026 World Cup in North America: Step 2 - the draw
I think they're gonna move shit around to try to best satisfy local TV markets. Thought I read somewhere that the locations will be finalized early next week.

USMNT 2025 - Easy English, hard ones Spanish
My gut is that we're better than the Aussies, worse than Turkey, and about equal to Paraguay. Not advancing would be a major failure given the format.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen
Jett Walker's tape is just 5 minutes of him running straight ahead through holes you could drive a truck through. It's not even a 1-cut running style, it's like 0-cut. He does have good size, decent straight line speed, and doesn't mind contact. I suppose he's a guy that's happy to come to Texas, play school, get 30 carries a year trucking defenders from SHSU, and be a motherfucker on special teams.

Dallas Cowboys 2025 season thread: 8-9 and divine. The world according to Jerry
It’s over. Losing to a good Detroit team at their place isn’t the cardinal sin, though. Let us not forget that Jerry “built” one of the worst defenses in league history coming into the season and that’s the reason we’re not going to be in the playoffs.

What’s Your Preferred Playoff Format?
Yeah. It's fine. Doesn't matter. We're just replacing bowls as year-end entertainment at that point. I don't believe that, say, #19 Michigan truly has a chance to get hot and win 5 games in a row and lift the trophy, but it also doesn't hurt anything. More football is good.
