  1. that ball should have gone to Curry
  2. Mr. Nowell is a pocket-sized Magic Johnson.
  3. If KSU plays a bit less recklessly, they would be way ahead.
  4. Also, why do so many go for a layup when a dunk is as easy? Many of these layups are misses. Is it just trying to save energy, though they jump about the same for both.
  5. KSU with very sloppy plays. Wasting such as great pass on an easy layup miss.
  6. Yeah, they couldn't be more open and set if it were a shootaround.
  7. I haven't seen a team miss so many open 3 point shots.
  8. Tennessee has a nice mid-range game and defending well.
  9. FDU played like a champion. Big kudos to the little (figuratively and literally) guys.
  10. I'll give up the drive to the basket and guard the 3.
  11. These commentators are rooting for Purdue. That is a foul.
  12. I thought N Kentucky was impressive yesterday but FDU is playing even better except for the 3-pt shooting. If Purdue center is not there they would win easily.
  13. N Kentucky is doing everything well except making the ball go through the basket.
  14. Also, I suspect their coaches/AD want to minimize tough permanent rivals and would be glad to not play LSU every year. They will be happy with UT, MSU and USC.
  15. Yep, the biggest change should be that there is a ref in the box with 4+ monitors showing different angles live. Whenever he/she sees a discrepancy, he/she buzzes in the correct answer. This can be done in less than 30 seconds, which means the plays continue as long as there is no incoming buzz. No need for a field ref to take a movie break. Currently, the whole review is almost theatrical; with the ref ceremoniously announcing that there is going to be a review, then the majestic jog to the sidelines, the donning of the headphones and the slight crouching for an exclusive view that we, the peanut gallery, is not privy to, and finally the royal edict that proves that they are after all emperors without clothes, i.e., big 12 refs.
  16. Makes you question his rooting interest.
  17. Just now realized that Durant is not playing. Eliminates any rooting interest I may have had.
  18. And all the non-engineers here diss on engineers. All this in 20 years when Yahoo's directory list was the bees' knees. Halfway through, I was feeling bad for the chatbot that it was being hoodwinked into embracing the dark force but it turned the tables on the educated human by becoming a psycho lover. From the chatbot pleading to stop the conversation halfway, it made the human beg to stop the conversation. And it's only going to get better (worse for us humans).
  19. This game wase close but didn't feel exciting to me like other close games such as wildcard games this year or last year's championship games. The college playoff semifinals were the most enjoyable.
  20. The probability of winning with a short FG is lot higher than stopping the opposing offense from scoring with 100 seconds or so.
  21. Yes, both value sports but college football has changed so much with NIL and portal that it is just an unregulated professional league now. The best they can hope for is having a few decent players for a year that were overlooked by other teams before they transfer. This whole setup seems antithetical to their mission. Going about half-heartedly with SDSU/SMU will just relegate them further. It's not as if not having football lowers their visibility (Ivy League doesn't suffer) but a mediocre half-professional portal-driven football team could be an irritating thorn to their vision/mission, with no Rose Bowl possibilities to assuage the discomfort.
  22. I see, the royal "we". In that sense, where we are wearing the rich feathers of our alumni, we should not be personally strutting so much as it is coming across here. It may just be my perception though.
