  1. The ball must be out, but there may not be a video showing that.
  2. it is all about downing punts inside the 10 in the Neb-Iowa game.
  3. King is the prototypical scrappy QB. It is great to watch him play.
  4. great stand. GT should run more.
  5. That's a bad spot on 3rd down.
  6. I suspect the coaches' salaries will significantly reduce at non-P2 teams. This means that coordinators at P2 may not be attracted by HC salaries at non-P2 places and may move only to build their resumes. Also, the OkSu-type teams may be better off having a good NIL and young/cheap coaches than the other way around.
  7. who is that guy throwing horns down on the CBS halftime show?
  8. I was dumbfounded when he stretched out at the goal line in the KY game and probably fumbled it. He knows he has to protect the ball, had already fumbled in the game, and is still trying to reach across with one hand. I realized that no amount of carrying the ball during the week is going to cure that attitude.
  9. The A&M game against USCr shows that a mobile Arch would be great to replicate it. My main worry with Arch over Ewers is whether Arch has command on "extended handoffs" (horizontal passing, screens), which is a big part of our offense. If not executed well, those are dangerous passes. Without this part of the offense, we'll be high variance, boom or bust type. Way too risky. I hope Sark has Arch ready.
  10. Yes, Milroe is a good QB in a team full of 5 stars, and Ewers is a better QB in a team that is also very good. Do not disparage what is working for what could be. There are more variables to leading an offense than the few that we see and discuss.
  11. Well, he is being schemed with 3-deep and despite our limited RB play due to injuries/fumbles, he has led us to where we are today.
  12. All the people clamoring for Arch are failing to understand that QB play is more than just deep balls and running around in the backfield. KY's FR QB did that and has earned Derka's full praise. It would be quite sad (God forbid) if Arch turns out to be not much more than white Milroe. Couple of games of KY QB/Milroe are enough for DCs to scheme against them. See yesterday's Milroe game as an example.
  13. good question
  14. I think Sark's approach in 2nd half was to play it safe and go with experience even if hurt. And he was correct. The team fumbling thrice in the 3rd quarter was the head scratcher.
  15. Haha, who made that QB list in the Ewers thread where Dart is first and Ewers is 12th or something.
  16. !!!
  17. Dart needs a chinstrap, or crazy glue.
  18. good game
  19. Ole Miss is moving the ball. Just take the points.
  20. “go’s” this is ingenuity
  21. This is the one characteristic that stands out to me, which is Quinn's apparent hesitation on throwing to anyone that is not open. Looks like either under direction or by his natural tendency, he wants to make only safe throws. He should be more confident in his receivers to make plays. This combined with him taking the 5 yards and sliding will double his QB effectiveness.
  22. My hope is that we win out, A&M loses to Auburn and us dropping out of top 25, and we beat whoever makes it to CC making them also drop out of top 25, thereby making it to playoffs without any top 25 wins.
  23. I am trying to figure out which surlite wrote this based on the style. There are too many underhanded jabs in there for it to be genuine (meaning aggy authorship).
  24. I think you should ask ChatGPT to update the template to a more relevant one, such as the following. Surlites, as you have so astutely discovered, are doctors of the theoretical kind.
  25. CU should have run an outside run to use up couple more seconds so that they can throw on 2nd down.
