  1. And this is my reminder to double up my bet on the under for aggy wins (8.5).
  2. Several months ago I walked into the Taylor office with no appointment. In and out in less than 45 minutes.
  3. Just kind of glossed over Miss St, who's beaten them 4 of the last 5 in Starkville.
  4. Got AAA at the first of this year and haven't had to use them yet, other than using their discount for hotels. Not sure if mentioned but I've heard if you use your auto insurance for roadside, they treat it like a claim. And the way insurers are looking for any reason to jack up rates and/or terminate, I figured AAA would easily end up paying for itself in that regard.
  5. Out of my 15 individual positions, I see one green.
  6. Got some of that "WTF, why did you move there?" in my ancestry. Two grandparents born/lived/died in Munday, the other two born/lived/died in Rhineland. Growing up, Dad worked on the watermelon and potato farms in the area. Would have been the mid-60s as he was born in '48 (happy 76th today, Dad. RIP). Mom's crew was cousins of the Zeissels, unfortunately no ownership in their fertilizer business. But Mom and dem all got out, educated, and did pretty good for themselves. Mom and Dad married at St Joseph's in Rhineland, I was baptized there just a few months later, heh. Then on to bigger and better things in The Big WF, where I spent the next 20ish years. Fowler, McNiel, Rider, 2 years at MSU, and finally enough balls to gtfo and down to The Forty. We may not know each other, but we definitely had relatives who knew each other.
  7. Why are those dipshits so worried about not getting any 5 star receivers? They just need some scrappy, hard-nosed guys who Melk can coach up to block in the Klein flying wedge offense.
  8. Summary: - Pool is always great and Pool will be awesome this year. If you don't believe the hype of Pool, you're a 2%er. - This class is awesome. We beat out sip, west coast sip, and secsecsec for a bunch of these guys. If you don't love this class, you're a 2%er. - My brisket was better than Lincoln Riley's. If you think I burnt the brisket, you're a 2%er.
  9. Went for the Texas/Rutgers game in 1999. They were really shitty back then and their fans were welcoming to us. But they hated them some Chris Simms, who was from the Piscataway area and "snubbed" them to come to Texas. Yeah, the #1 recruit in the country was going to turn down Tennessee or Texas go to shit-ass Rutgers. So we get up a few scores late, Mack puts Simms in and the crowd goes fucking nuts. Like they'd been waiting all day just to rain down boos on him. They either got a good hit or maybe even a sack on him and you'd have thought they won the fucking championship. Overall, a good trip, we stayed in NYC Fri-Sun. Wished we had made it a longer trip to enjoy the city but it was a good time.
