  1. Ole Miss was also a playoff bubble team. Trade their win against Furman for a win against Vandy or Mizzou and they have a much better argument.
  2. Finally made it there last May and it might be my favorite spot for poboys now.
  3. I recall watching them at the drum thinking "why the hell don't you just throw it down in the paint to him every possession??". Then we watched him shoot FTs and thought "huh, yeah now I see why".
  4. It's not bigger than the continental US?
  5. Went from "Sark sucks" to "Sark to the NFL would cripple them and we're going to will it to happen" very quickly. Guess that's what you have to hang your hat on when 2023-2024 Texas has done shit that 99.9% of aggy has never witnessed: - Back to back top 4 finishes - CFP participation - Winning a CFP game (2x) - 13 win season - Back to back 12 win seasons - Playing for an SEC championship And 100% of aggy under 26 years old have never seen: - 12 win season (much less 2) - Conference championship - Playing for a conference championship - Back to back double digit wins - Back to back years of 1 loss or less in conference - Back to back years of 3 losses or less
  6. That's a helluva deal, most employees don't have access to premiums in that range. But let's go ahead and say that's the norm and see what a monthly budget might look like for the median income HH: Housing $2k, Groceries $1k, Health/dental/life insurance $500. Now let's also add in gas and insurance while driving paid off cars - $500. And add in utilities - $500. And let's factor in childcare - $750. Those are all at the lower range of reality. So if my math is right, your $64k take home for the year paid for those necessities with a whopping $1000 left over. Pray to God you don't have to miss more than a few days of work due to illness for you or a child, or pay for any clothes, or kid has a cavity and the insurance doesn't cover it all, or replace the tires on your car, or buy a new water heater for your house, or.... life happening.
  7. The problem is, the average American can't afford that. Median HH income is about $80k. Take home after FICA/MCare/FIT is about $64k. Average home price in Texas is about $300k (Austin-area? lol). $250k note at 6% over 30 years + taxes + insurance is about $2k/mo. Average grocery bill for family of 4 is about $1k/mo. Average cost of health insurance for a family of 4 is about $1.5k/mo. That leaves about $10k/yr for transportation, clothes, utilities, and out of pocket medical expenses.
  8. Dammit. https://www.wral.com/news/local/ripken-bat-dog-death/
  9. CFP record the last 2 years (to date): Texas 2-1 SEC teams not named Texas: 0-3 B12 teams not named Texas: 0-1 ACC: 0-2
  10. Also, if they do end up cutting a check because she can't decide what to do or procrastinates, she has 60 (?) days to roll it into an IRA without having to pay the 10% early withdrawal penalty + taxes.
  11. He was trying to say "concussion" but it came out "croissant".
  12. Rolling over my remaining list from last year, with subs for Doherty and Simmons: Demi Lovato (31) Shannon Doherty (52) Diddy (55) Corey Feldman (53) John Daly (58) Todd Bridges (59) Michael J Fox (63) Vince Neil (63) Tanya Tucker (66) Hulk Hogan (71) Richard Simmons (75) Terry Bradshaw (76)
  13. Tied for 10th in receiving TDs all time at A&M. "Good riddance".
  14. Congrats on your MVP trophy, Scatbrah. Enjoy polishing it next Friday night while you're watching the Cotton Bowl.
  15. Right before the snap on the slant to Wingo that got us from midfield to their 25 late in regulation, I was screaming at the TV to hit somebody in the middle. Fortunately, we did. Unfortunately, Bert choked.
  16. Reminds me of Quan Crosby (sic). Hopefully Golden has a similar play vs the couch burners next week.
