Hence why China is already taking efforts to team up with everyone else in the world that we’re also pissing off to isolate us.

Correct.  Taking on China alone isn't a great idea in the short term, and it may have worked in the long run (although I have strong doubts about that).  But when we start fucking with the EU, CAN, MEX, they will all work together and just freeze us out.

More and more companies will follow Harley's lead, taking a hit up front to move production to Europe and Asia, which will pay off for them in the long run.  China will also help expedite these moves by attracting companies with incentives, low cost labor, and better trade deals that they have with the rest of the world - our former trade partners.  The long term impacts of this will fuck the American economy bigly.

Image result for this situation will get out of control

In store solicitation is bullshit. I've experienced this at Lowe's, Home Depot and Best Buy. If someone comes up to you and asks if you are a homeowner, just say no.

And when you are at Costco or Sam's and are asked who your cable provider is, always say "DirectTV".

I've been on a killing spree the last couple days. OWA, Blanton's,  Stagg Jr. and Baby Blue all done in the last two days.  The end of the week could see W12, EHT SiB and John J Bowman go down for the count. I really should slow down on the juice, but moderation is for pussies. Cheers gents

    Username checks out.

  4. Holy shit, completely forgot about the "Six Flags leaning house" (that's what we called it) and LaSalle's River Boat Ride.  LaSalle's scared the shit out of me the 1st time I rode it, but I always loved it after that.

Agreed on all of this.  Peche is great...can't say it enough, get the whole fish.

Upperline and Brigtsen's aren't quite as casual, but not super fancy either.  Both damn good too.

Alon Shaya had the well-documented falling out (lawsuit, settlement, etc.) with Besh.  Besh still owns Shaya and have heard it's still good/the same.  In May (I think), Shaya opened his new place, Saba, further up Magazine and have not yet been yet, but have heard it's good as well.

Yep, Peche, Brigtsen's, Upperline all outstanding.  Jumbo shrimp and sticky rice dish at Peche is really good.

Shaya is owned by BRG (Besh Restaurant Group) and, ironically, Besh is no longer part of BRG.  He left after the sexual harassment shit went down.

  6. Favorite dishes in Lafayette area:  Olde Tyme Grocery shrimp po boy.  French Press Cajun Benedict (badfuckingass gumbo) and loaded Blue Cheese breakfast potatoes.  Snapper at Bon Temps Grill.   Cupids Daiquiris for a Rajun Cajun TNT for a nightcap.

Recently renovated Comfort Suites in Scott is relatively inexpensive and convenient off of I-10.

If you can somehow swing the Sunday brunch at Little Big Cup in Arnaudville, (20 min drive from Breaux Bridge), hit that sumbitch up and thank me later.  Popped a little chub just thinking about it...

James Durst is consoling folks that aggy hasn’t won conference in 6 years in the sec..... is he aware that not only have they not “won” conference but that they are so far from it that they can’t even see it because of the curvature of the earth.  Some folks never win conference. That’s their future. 100 year decisions have consequences.

They earned a tie for 5th in conference in their best season in 3 generations.

Since their last conference championship 19 years ago, they are 1 game under .500 in conference play.  Building champions indeed.

Neil Armstrong once flew over College Station during his pilot training.  General dog looked up, saw the plane and barked.  He was aggy from that moment forward.  They already claim him as an aggy alum.  Put it on the wall.  If he had won the Medal of Honor, they would have claimed that too.

It was a goldurn sip/NASA conspiracy that kept Aggie engineers from shooting Aggie Neil up in a rocket at night so that he could have been the 1st person on the sun.

Ah, here is where I will dispose of my cardboard box.

This is a great one. We have charter buses with bathrooms that have the small bin made for moist towelettes and tp wrappers...not McDonalds bags and your large cup that take up 80% of the space. Fuckheads

On the flip side, fuck places that have small trash cans where a large one is required.  Our lunch rooms at work have cans under the counter, which have about a 10" diameter hole for the trash to fit through.  Can probably only fit about a dozen wadded up Whataburger bags into one of them.

If we have Jason's Deli trays or pizza or whatever for work meetings, there's no place for the empty boxes to go, except to sit out on the tables until the janitors roll by late in the afternoon.
