  1. I just looked at his wikipedia page and he's the answer for like 8 trivia questions.
  2. He flamed out after. I was optimistic when he became an Astro. He's also the only pitcher to hit a home run against maddux.
  3. 2002 NL rookie of the year?
  4. I'm fine with pitching this thread for the slossgobbling one.. I'll post the schedule stuff as it drops and do an update when the next tidbit comes out.
  5. Kentucky just had their best year ever with their first trip to Omaha. It's a stacked baseball conference that's for sure.
  6. As previously announced, beginning in 2025 SEC baseball teams will play a three-game series against two permanent opponents and eight rotating opponents for a total of 30 conference games. Standings will be kept in a single-division format, eliminating divisional standings. https://www.secsports.com/news/2023/11/sec-announces-permanent-baseball-opponents-format
  7. Do you have documentation on that, a url? I *believe* in the presser he said it was the next year at Olsen. This is also the first I've heard that we would play our "natural SEC opponents" twice in a season home and away every year.
  8. Texas vs Texas a&m will be in austin in 2025 -per the press conference.
  9. A&M seems like a parody school. The you see other schools doing it too, but they all laugh and point at aggy for being regarded. It's her sister. (or do I go for the bi-polar joke?)
  10. Yeah, you are right... I mean I can't cheat on my wife/girlfriend, but luckily you have just the guy for the threesome...
  11. I will say this, if he is as only as good as Pierce was here then he's going to implode like the little bitch he appears to be.
  12. Yes he did. He also did a big thing snubbing us when Augie was ice-floed, mr purple pen (which is actually what I am maddest about) we should have already won a few national championships with him already.
  13. All of David Pierces coaches followed him from Tulane....
  14. I'm sure he's a good coach. I just remember someone going on about how adversity reveals character, not building character... but fuckit we fired that guy too...
  15. I think this is the last time I'm going to post on this. I also think I am going to take a break until schedules start dropping. He's been a shitbag everywhere he's coached. What he did to the reporter (and a&m) is in character for him. I guess he won't ever do it again now that he's with "us". Hopefully he can deliver on the expectations you all seems to have for him. If not I see this getting really ugly.
  16. I think skip is a great pitching coach. The same way frank anderson and ken knutson are great pitching coaches.
  17. You are leaving out the years he ran things for augie.. 2 good years, 12 years of below-average
  18. He had a house across the street from a ballpark. It's like Rudy Giuliani having to move out of the mayors mansion in nyc after he cheated on his wife.
  19. He left his family when he cheated on his wife and lost his house across the street from Lufton Field to her in the divorce. Then he went full Agro.
