  1. I don't keep Terry if it is my decision to make. He would not have been in the discussion had he not been a bench coach here when Beard went out. I think we have seen his ceiling. If Terry is the best coach we can get then there is a massive problem with the program.

I like DP and think he is doing a great (yes) job. Having said that this is the softest part of the schedule they have played since intrasquad games last fall. Let's tap the brakes on the praise a bit and see how they are doing after TT-Aggie-OSU-AF. I think losing Witt and Nixon hurts more than Kash. Having said that, if someone doesn't want to play here. There is the door.

Baseball rankings early in the season are based on perception and mainly clickbait to drive traffic to sites. We lost a lot of position players from last season. We had some portal damage and some think we did not load up sufficiently in the offseason. We then lost some tight games early againt solid teams with less than stellar run production as pitching was getting tuned up. We are now playing the cream filling before conference. Hitting/Pitching seems to be improving some. The only poll that matters is Omaha. Or it's because DP is the worst possible coach ever and maybe you touch yourself. Somewhere in the middle I'm sure.
  16. We were all leaving after Beard was fired anyways....
  17. audio stream if you don't want to install an app on your gul durn fancy fone. https://thevarsitynetwork.com/feed?audioPlayer=westwoodone%3Aallaccess-Live-228
  18. Radio broadcast said their coach thinks they are the best 1 and whatever team he's coached. Which could be true either way I guess. Gotta keep slogging and they appear to be doing it.
  19. I loved, loved, loved The Passenger/Stella Maris. I had just "survived" cancer when I read it so a lot of the feelings in the book hit home to me. It's similar in themes of other books of his, and people have suggested it is more of a callback. I hope it is not an ending for his writing career. I am starting Suttree next. Although what I really want to do is re-read The Passenger again. I am intentionally waiting on that.
