  1. We eat a ton of the garlic hummus, but I had never seen this one before. I guess it was discontinued for a while or something and was brought back recently. It’s very good and herby.
  2. I guess I’m failing to understand why anyone would opt out. They can get rev sharing as well as outside corporate NIL deals.
  3. Corporate NIL isn’t capped
  4. That’s what I was hoping to hear. I didn’t realize it was just open like that during the week. They thoroughly enjoyed it.
  5. Taking my boys around campus today, is it possible to get inside DKR and look at the trophies etc?
  6. That person’s voice is enough to make me steer clear of Texan pride bbq brisket enchiladas
  7. Hopefully he’s the reich guy for the job!
  8. Volunteered to coach my almost 4 year old’s T-ball team without really realizing what I was getting myself into. The difference in the whole team (and my coaching) from week 1 til today was night and day - very cool to see. 3-4 is definitely young for t ball but I could tell the kids had fun. Anyway, champs motha fuckas!
  9. Pinkertons slamming and going hard today. Amazed this line isn’t longer… we are outside with our kids and after we finished eating my wife told me to go grab another round of drinks so we could enjoy this awesome weather. Better than truth IMO.
  10. Have been to Toro once and had a great time - really enjoyed the food and the scene. Not from SA so can’t comment on the others.
  11. … which are? Could always use a daytime activity when up there visiting family.
  12. Do you not know how UT admissions work regarding auto admission?
  13. Did he change his name to Javier or something?
  14. Half Stubbs, half Craig’s pepper jelly bbq sauce. Craig’s is also great as a glaze on ribs.
  15. We were saying the same regarding humidity or lack thereof. We drove to Mission Concepcion, and saw some of those electric assist bikes there, so decided we’d rent some and ride down and back to the next closest mission. Whatever it got up to yesterday, it wasn’t bad at all relative to what it would been like in Houston. I wouldn’t have been able to convince my wife to do that in Houston’s humidity.
  16. If you went past post #1 you made a mistake
  17. We can’t for a lot of reasons, but I personally wish I could GTFO Houston for San Antonio. I don’t even dislike Houston, but I think SA is my favorite city in Texas. It’s for sure becoming our quick driveable getaway/long weekend location.
  18. $300 for the two of us after tip. I had a cocktail and a glass of wine, my wife didn’t have anything to drink. Thank god she didn’t or we would’ve ordered a bottle of wine and made it closer to $400
  19. Ended up at Bohanan’s for our 10 year anniversary to “blow it out”, as someone suggested up thread. What an incredible meal, from setting to service to food, just an all around great experience. We both have a bit of “vacation stomach” right now so we didn’t even do a bottle of wine but even still that was an impressive price tag… worth it, but dayum!
  20. On the Chinese-ish food trend, teriyaki chicken.
  21. I mixed cream cheese with the sundried tomato pesto after consulting my dad (the OG maker of this sandwich) and good God it cranked this sumbitch up to 11.
  22. I doubt arch is going to be as much of a check down Charlie as Quinn was though.
  23. I used to have to drive to spring every day - 45 is a death trap.
  24. Did a little day trip to Galveston for Mother’s Day, and packed some sandwiches for lunch. Mayo, turkey, ham, bacon, harvarti, onion, lettuce, and sun dried tomato pesto.
  25. The fact that you went to atm blows my mind every time I see your posts, regardless of topic 😂
