  1. Where are yall going in Houston? Everywhere still seems pretty expensive
  2. Okay helo
  3. Anyone have some recs for an anniversary dinner spot? 10 years so I don’t mind getting a little swanky but I’d want to keep it somewhat reasonable. Excellent service and a nice wine list are important to me, but I’m pretty much open to any type of cuisine.
  4. That stupid bitch Nico and fat fuck bitch tits Dumont killed my fandom if this team. Will never ever root for them again, snd I tuned in late just to see how many points Luka dragged his nuts on this shit ass team for. I wish I had a more eloquent way to talk shit about Nico but stupid bitch is all he deserves.
  5. Whoever said this pitcher is the most Georgia looking dude ever is right. That is one ugly son of a bitch.
  6. I guess I did but I’d have to go back and look tbh. I know they will be monitoring my generator and coming out once a year to service it so sounds like I did lol
  7. 5w20 (maybe it was 30) full synthetic is what my installer told me today. He said the most important thing was that it was the full synthetic.
  8. Well, feels good to have that taken care of before storm season. Thanks @Hate for the installer rec.
  9. I do love the 3:10 start time
  10. The Kroger and HEB near me both had them in abundance. Didn’t do a ton of trimming in these. One cooking method I saw after that I think would be good is to braise them for an hour or two after smoking to break down the collagen even further. It wasn’t an issue while it was still warm, but after it cooled off and resettled it firmed back up a lot.
  11. I had to go back like 10 pages but I think Rolando’s is what I was thinking of. But taquitos west ave looks damn good too. Thanks.
  12. I am looking for some recs to help fill out a weekend. My wife and I will be there for our anniversary, so mostly looking for some fun activities and some restaurants. Particularly, looking for your best Mexican/taco spot for lunch and some spots for dinner. Based on what everyone says I imagine we will end up at the pearl area at some point but walkable from river walk is preferable. what is the taco spot that gets posted here frequently that appears to have the most beautiful tacos I’ve ever seen? Someone knows what I’m talking about.
  13. Well, it’s Miller time.
  14. It’s called a microwave
  15. Well they actually made the tournament
  16. My wife is out of town so I decided to play around and smoke some beef cheeks, which I’d never done before. Holy hell did this turn out well, and in only 5 hours. It’s definitely fatty but it’s so much easier than dealing with a brisket.
  17. FWIW, I am usually a scramble it all together person but I may have had a bit of a hangover this morning.
  18. Gettin a little judgey in here considering the thread…
  19. As my cousin from Tennessee used to say, it’ll still make a turd, but visually I probably should’ve put the brisket on top of egg.
  20. Leftover Pinkerton’s brisket, fried egg, El Gallo jalapeno.
  21. After a couple of years, I finally convinced my out of state coworkers to get bbq with me for dinner during our annual dept conference. It’s hard to get them too far from downtown once everyone’s in, etc. I took them to Pinkertons and pretty much from the minute we walked in I could tell these guys were in awe. Pinkerton’s was on point, so they did me a solid and made me look good to the out of towners.
  22. You love to see it….
  23. Pork tenderloin with a garlic honey apple cider vin glaze. This sauce would also go well on roasted chicken.
