  1. Gracias. Do you have any towns in particular that you would recommend in addition to Sonoma proper?
  2. 2 Mom (no pics) family, 2 under 2. We love Austin, but think our time may be coming to an end here given the evolving climate. Still in the early planning stages, but my firm indicated I could stay on if we moved to California or Colorado, which is great news but shakes up out plans a bit as we were thinking more east coast. Any intel on the vibes in Marin/Sonoma County or Laguna Nigel, particularly for our family situation? In Denver, should we look to the burbs or Denver proper + private school? Anywhere I'm overlooking? Thanks!
  3. I made not just great, but perfect grades in math until calculus. Went to law school.
  4. Exactly. I’m just going to have to vote again. I think they were en route to refilling, but I had to leave.
  5. Robust 30 minute line at downtown Austin city hall, but no stickers left when I went.
  6. I’m friends with one of their children, and this is so devastating. Incredible family, full of truly interesting and vibrant people. What a miserable week.
  7. My wife and I have been mulling over a move out of Austin as well for these reasons. We are about to have two young daughters, and even if things don’t completely deteriorate federally, I can’t imagine things will look great (for us) in Texas in the next 5-10 years. We’re both very feminine and conventionally attractive, so no hassles wherever we go on a day-to-day level, but I think the child and marriage license thing are going to be a problem in the future. Any good recs on an accepting Denver suburb or relatively nice neighborhood in Denver proper?
  8. She may have already tried this route, but she should apply to the IAEA, perhaps in a low-level admin position, just to get her foot in the door. It has a great campus filled with incredible people and Vienna is awesome.
  9. The 5th Circuit’s take would turbofuck the lending and mortgage industry, so I’m assuming Thomas joined the majority because of his relationship with Crow/TCC?
  10. I loved my time at SRD, and it was a little more down to earth than Hardin. If she’s going to rush and end up a Kappa, Theta or Pi Phi then Hardin, if she’s not rushing or won’t make it into those three, I would recommend SRD.
  11. Well fuck. Anyone know how easy it is to move states as a partner at a big law firm? It’s easy … right?
  12. My first and only was 4. #neveragain
  13. Swap AoF and ZoI and I agree with this list.
  14. Gram Parsons - Gram Parsons, the Byrds and Flying Burrito Brothers
  15. Interesting. I wonder if Mattie Parker will run for her seat.
  16. If you’re staying in the hills outside of SJDS you will definitely want a 4x4 car (or driver who has one). We took a taxi from town one time and they could only make it up half way and then we had to walk uphill under the jungle canopy in the dark back to our place. It was not ideal. Back when we went there was an awesome sailing cruise outside of SJDS that takes you to a gorgeous pristine beach a bit down the coast. Would highly recommend
  17. Very high on our list. We loved it.
  18. Crazy. But also…is that first tweet from a Carolyn Bessette Kennedy fan account haha?
  19. He also definitely did not attend TAMu for the great vibes… he got a full a scholly + stipend from a private scholarship organization.
  20. I was in a big 6 sorority at UT in the 00s and that was pretty much all of it. We would get very drunk during deliberations and occasionally randomly elevate or cut a girl based off of completely random criteria (ie. she has a stupid hobby or I don’t like her middle name), but it was never grades. Grades were more of a “oh neat fact” kind of thing.
