  1. This is why we need capes !!!
youll find me at the following hot spots : salt grass, pduexes, outback, the schooner, Larry’s French market, old orange cafe or the Rancho grande bar.

Any surly in rotating equipment, hit me up for for free lunch or dinner.

Are you in sales? We really should have a forum for this. I don’t do the buying of this type of equipment, but I could get you in front of those in our mill who do.

  2. You could setup a TV as a monitor with a small PC on it and then you could show whatever you wanted. We have those all over our mill and they are constantly updating them with new info. If you have a secretary that would be close, they could have a wireless keyboard and mouse if they needed to make changes.

  4. In the mid 1990s my son actually spent spring break in a shitty Fort Stockton motel after his VW van engine blew about 70 miles out of town on I-10.

Anyone else see Army Brat’s name and read the first sentence as “In the mid 1900’s...”?
  5. I think purchasing departments feel their role in organizations is to bring progress to a grounding halt.

I want to do some steam header control work with a group out of Finland. They have done the same work at least two of our other mills. I’ve been trying to get them setup as a vendor for our mill for almost a month now and we’re still not there. I truly believe they take pleasure in my pain.
  6. A glass of whole milk with the gluten free chocolate chip cookies from Trader Joes is the best. Fight me.

If you are in Dallas and don’t eat gluten or are vegan, check out Reverie Bakeshop on Coit Road https://www.instagram.com/reveriebakeshop/

Their stuff is amazing and they have a wide variety of sweets and other options that you wouldn’t normally find that doesn’t have egg, dairy or gluten. If it was sarcasm, I’ll get my meter adjusted.

  7. Who still prints?
    Get with the times man

All you mother fuckers need to print everything! Also, fuck that email receipt option. You need to have them print that bitch two or three times. I need twenty more years in this fucking place and then you can stop.
  8. The dairy has kicked our ass. You don’t realize what all it is in until you can’t figure out why you can’t stop your kid’s diarrhea. I never would have guessed that meat sticks have dairy in them until we started reading every label. McDonalds fries is another weird one that contains dairy and a shit ton of other stuff.

We see Dr Kendall Brown in Plano and he has been awesome with us.

  9. My son has nut allergies.  It is OUR responsibilty to keep him safe.  You're an effing idiot if you call don't expect cross-contamination in a bag of Halloween candy.

Gluten, dairy and egg allergy here. We take her trick or treating and swap what she gets our with either something she can eat or something her sister got. We are lucky in that none of her allergies cause breathing issues, but either way it’s our responsibility. Just the other day my wife gave her some hard candy she got at our church and then realized it had egg in it. Never would’ve guessed, but it was our fault for not checking first.
  10. My three year old likes Blippi quite a bit. She loves the episode where he goes to the fire station and shows off a fire truck and ambulance. When my 6 year old was that age, she loved Stuart Little. She would watch that damn show every day.
