  1. i think you could argue that the most influential person on earth just died. maybe today he isn't as influential as ronaldo, messi, or lebron, but i can't think of anyone who has inspired more people on earth over the last 65 years than Pelé. he's beyond a legend; he's an icon. rest in peace to one of the most important people who ever lived.

    100% agreed.
  2. Mbappe is better right now. Haaland is great, but Mbappe literally just carried a country to the world cup final. Haaland will have his chance to respond but 2022 goes to Mbappe.

He was actually very average vs England and a little better vs Morocco. He didn’t carry them to the final, he carried them in the final. Thought both Griezmann and Giroud were much better both of those games to make the final. Doesn’t matter much because what he did today was special.

  3. Ryan Reynolds has been doing some work and the National League has signed a streaming deal for their games to be shown on the net. This was clearly done for Wrexham due to their popularity, however the deal benefits the whole league.

They bought the club for $2.5 million. Just feels insane right now and they are going to profit a shit ton on the club.

  4. Having been to France many times, and never having an issue with them, I can say they are some of the best people in the world. If you think they are assholes, you either don't know or aren't really trying while you're there.

Either way, Go Argentina. I'm pulling for Messi.

My exact experience as well. Zero issues, and really a shit ton of fun to hang out with.

I had completely forgotten about him. It’s so nice to see him score a goal for West Brom…

…while Jesús Ferreira a started a World Cup match in the knockout rounds.

I'm just happy he's healthy again. Still think he could be the most infectious #9 we have as of today and should be our backup behind Pepi in '26 and of course ahead of Haji. Hoping he could be at a mid table Premier League team by 2024 if he can stay healthy.
