  1. I see the opposite (mostly). Nate won't be successful... or at least WH will underperform. They're already setting him up for the fall (the car, the press conference blowing up in his face). His style doesn't work (putting a grown man on a dummy line),and I think Nate gets canned early(ish). Comes back to Richmond for his redemption, they win the whole thing, Ted comes home, Nate takes over. I can also Nate cutting a player for underperforming, Richmond snatching him up and that player blossoming under Ted. They talked about beefing up the lineup. I could see this being one of the steps in Nate's fall from grace.

I think he's saying that the people complaining about trans-women* ruining competition, don't actually follow women's sports, so they aren't engaged in the discussion because of some sense of fairness, but rather some other more negative motivation (bigotry, transphobia). I'd agree with him, I think many of those people mock women's athletics in other discussions. *I hope I have that correct, I worry that I get trans-women/trans-men mixed up.
  3. Playing through it was a beating, but looking at the broader themes, and the way they did it made it one of most ambitious narrative-driven games I can think of. It did not have the replayability of part 1, but when I think of it, part 2 was a masterpiece. It will not be for everyone, but if you appreciate this season, there is no reason you won't appreciate the next. That being said, they have some real challenges presenting that story and keeping people engaged. I think they can pull it off.
  4. One of the times I played it, I used a flamethrower.
  5. I agree that it felt rushed, and it did seem too easy. Then I'm thinking, "what do they show instead?". I don't know the answer to that question. Maybe I'm just glum that it's over... for now.
  6. I saw some click bait that said it was a shorter episode. It was obvious click bait, so I kept scrolling. Disappointing if true.
  7. Pancakes, cake, biscuits, and cookies with raisins. Bonus points if you put an old lady in a wheelchair in the corner.
  8. To bad he didn't end up on his back.
  9. Well, obviously planning parenthood isn't her thing, so I'd say it's pretty on brand.
  10. Seriously, why would any publisher put his picture on the cover? If the cover had an AI created image of a "crying liberal in a pink knit pussy hat", the book sales increase 10x. Well, that, or Heidi going ass 2 mouth 2 pussy.
  11. Yeah that's all real life teachers need these days... another depiction as "groomers" in popular media. I know that isn't your point (or the show's point) at all, but that line made this teacher cringe.
  12. Yeah, now imagine that as a boss battle. Running around the restaurant hiding from David, sneaking up behind him, stabbing and running. Takes like 20 minutes... if you don't get killed.
  13. It really is one of the most pathetic things I've seen an adult do.

  15. Nah, he was as much a piece of shit as the rest of them when it came to slavery. https://www.history.com/news/george-washington-and-the-slave-who-got-away#:~:text=When%20One%20of%20George%20Washington's,of%20freedom%20in%20New%20Hampshire.
  16. He writes poetry like he fucks his wife... rarely and poorly.... and maybe through a subordinate.
  17. Nah, they're still awful people. They just have Desantis now. Desantis is the (more) polished turd they can now tolerate being in there punch bowl.
  18. Picking stone fire fly dog tags might help.

The right is starting to get better at comedy?
  20. If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
  21. This would more accurate with cuts already into the trees.
  22. tchookem replied to Mo Horn's topic in Cloak Room
But what's the tree climbing situation?
  23. You think they would spell "administrator" without an "e"? Their password is "password".
  24. Any chance this guy goes R. Budd Dwyer?

It really raises some creditability concerns, doesn't it?
