  1. I'm actually interested in what their sincere expectations were and how Joe Biden could have done to meet those expectations, but I know better than to ask an earnest question. I appreciate your attempt to engage. Maybe it was a stupid thing for Biden to say, but I think he honestly thought Americans would jump on board with vaccinations. Oh well, at least the trolls are happy.
  2. The bolded people don't pay attention to Twitter and they definitely don't pay attention to the people reporting what's on Twitter. He knows he can say what he wants on Twitter without repercussion. He's an awful excuse for human being.
  3. He has lots of Chocolate Fountain friends.
  4. This. If we have to accept the Bravos we also get to claim the Stacey Abramses.
  5. Yeah, but have you shared a picture of you giving your diploma the middle finger to a bunch of strangers on the internet? I didn't think so.
  6. Crazy thing is, most of these parents are perfectly happy with their kids' schools and teachers. It's just like with politicians... "My guy is fine, I'll keep voting for him. Your guy is the problem. That's who needs to change." Meanwhile all the bitching and 'solutions' are making their kids' schools worse.
  7. My SS card doesn't have a picture on it. How would a SS card actually prevent voter fraud if it didn't have a picture? I mean, that's what's it's all for, preventing voter fraud. The huge problem that is voter fraud.
  8. Awesome? Maybe this protest turns treasonous like the last protest he supported?
  9. I'm just a lowly teacher, and I don't have to wade through a tenth of the bullshit these people deal with, but if you don't think this sentiment isn't tricking down, you are in for a very rude awakening. Even if teachers aren't getting the constant emails and phone calls, seeing the politics play out at school board meetings and reading about every political attack aimed at "battling indoctrination" has become a beatdown. Good teachers are walking away in the middle of the year. People have decided to use public education to grandstand for stupidity, and your kids' educations are already suffering because of it.
  10. If only people would stop getting tested... we'd have zero cases.
  11. I've never referred to Stacey Abrams as a creepy little manlet, so in my house it's Abrams. BTW, I just learned that she is a Texas Ex.
  12. Probably. I mentioned Brazil because that was what my half-assed internet research yielded as the 2nd highest number of deaths today.
  13. I just don't think Americans are even aware of where we fall compared to the countries we consider our contemporaries. Then again, maybe they are fully aware. One lesson the last 2 years have taught me is that Americans can not care better than any other country in the world.
  14. I'm watching the opening ceremonies so I decided to see how other countries were faring versus COVID. It looks like they're all doing better than we are... by a lot. We had 3,000 people die today. Brazil had 1,000. Do you think it would change anything if they flashed those numbers as each nation entered the stadium? Probably not.
  15. ... then return with a new username. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
  16. That's only because the other black man in the movie died in particularly spectacular fashion. LL Cool J's survival depended on Samuel Jackson's sacrifice. Shoulders of giants an all.
  17. I have the piece of shit on ignore, but when he's quoted I can't escape it. This exchange caught my attention. Teaching the big picture acts of racism in America's past (slavery, segregation, and the response to the Civil Rights Movement) aren't proof that we've overcome racism. The fact that we aren't teaching the acts that precipitated from those acts (racist G.I. Bill implementation, housing loan discrimination, all the way down to gerrymandering and voting restrictions) are proof that we still have work to do. CRT tries to address it. I wonder why some try to vilify it. Sorry for quoting you Captainant. You just quoted the dipshit.
  18. Looks like DonkeyTroll went back and +repped it after my post. Message Board rep... serious business.
  19. Until I read the caption, I thought that was a pile of dog shit. Now I have an idea what to do when people don't pick up after their dogs.
  20. I'll give internet points to anyone that names the 5 posters that +repped this post by the OP. Here's a hint: many of them are still posting... under different names.
  21. Reminds me of the Tea Party rally I attended. I like small government. I don't like government handouts to corporations. The Tea Party was really talking my language early on. So why shouldn't I go to a rally? The dorks dressed like Minutemen were strikes 1 and 2, but the Obama effigies in nooses and constant stream of n-bombs were strikes 3, 4, and 5. I left posthaste.
  22. To be honest, I don't know those details of their family finances. I just know that they were happy to use ACA, but not happy enough to vote for the party that made it happen.
