  1. Pool company set ours at 12 hours on high and 12 at 25%. I run it at 75% 24/7 on the summer and 50% during the winter. Everyone I know that has it changing constantly burns pumps up.
  2. If someone wants to give me $90k+ for this one, show me where to sign. 3300 miles, optioned out other than a sunroof and the stupid yellow cab lights. Iā€™ve turned into the suburb guy riding around in a 2500 series with nothing to pull. Of course, as soon as it sells Iā€™ll go buy another boat or more toys and start the circle again.
  3. That pricing is nuts. My F250 Platinum was $72k in May. Iā€™ll cut you a deal and sell it for $10k off the 350ā€™s pricing for $92k.
  4. In reality, doesnā€™t that cover most everything discussed in this thread?
  5. Trump versus a smarter, more appalling version of Trump will be the GQPā€™s wet dream. This presidential election cycle is going to have a shit ton of money and conflict and a bunch of roads that lead to nothing good. Desantisā€™ last year is taking everything to a new level.
  6. Bonefish Malvaldo 26 or a Barker 26 Bay are my first two choices if I can get past the size or maybe even the Conch 25. Think I really need to go 22-24 if I go that direction though.
  7. Boat went under contract today, looks like the end is here for my 20+ year run of wakeboats. Kind of sucks the more I have thought about it. Been researching what stupid purchase Iā€™m going to make to fill the empty garage slot, leaning towards a 22-24 foot bay boat I can also use at the home lakes but I canā€™t decide. May just sell the truck too and buy a Blackwing or something else dumb instead.
  8. I havenā€™t noticed any taste difference in normal recipes since switching. If itā€™s a heavy garlic recipe, I still go fresh. If itā€™s a clove or two, bottled,
  9. Remove Spice World minced garlic jar from fridge, stick spoon in to get minced garlic out, dump in pan, rinse spoon, replace bottle in fridge.
  10. If I can get my teenagers to fit in the box, will they also accept them?
  11. If Iā€™m in a cove with low traffic and no waves, I go shorter than normal. 15 is probably cutting it too close with a 10 foot depth, but 20/25 would work fine. I donā€™t want a lot of extra rope in situations like that.
  12. Watched it, it wasnā€™t the greatest movie ever but it was nice to get something different. Well worth watching and a bonus to support something other than Marvel. Key definitely likes to use a curse word or two. Also, he must have been looking at the Hope Solo pictures that are out there while he was working on his renderings.
  13. You can also add a minimal life insurance policy with some and the home/auto discount more than covers the cost.
  14. I run all Penn spinning setups currently, have 6 of them. I backfill the spool with mono, then top it off with braid and then use a mono leader. My kids fish them also and we rarely have had any issues with the braid on them. Occasionally youā€™ll get a knot as the first layer of braid starts to wear so I just cut it back and keep going until the braid layer gets shorter than I want it to be.
  15. Checked ours, it doubled. Escalade, F250, and golf cart (all 3 pretty well brand new) run $800 every 6 months. The 16 year old and her Escape runs $897.
  16. Just prepare for them to go no lube on you. Itā€™s the parents right of passage. Ours doubled when we added our oldest daughter.
  17. Everything I read when researching said gas was superior for baking because of the moisture level in a gas oven. It all depends on what youā€™re cooking Iā€™m sure but temp control on the higher end units is supposedly better than electric. I donā€™t like the taste on my gas grill, so I went electric even though Iā€™m sure the oven burns cleaner. We went with a 48 inch range. I would also look at a stand alone cooktop and dual wall ovens if youā€™re getting down in the smaller range sizes. I prefer that setup which we currently have, but it wasnā€™t worth the discussion once it was agreed we could go to a 48 inch setup. On the griddle, I wanted the indoor one for pancakes, eggs, other simple things. Plus, I didnā€™t want the grill insert or the extra burners above 5-6, so griddle it was. Extra burners would be more important if space was an issue.
  18. We have a gas cooktop with a down draft and then electric wall ovens. We are going to a single unit Wolf gas cooktop with a griddle and electric ovens with an overhead vent also. I donā€™t like the downdraft for the reasons mentioned above plus it is loud compared to overhead. We looked at the gas and electric oven options and decided to go electric for what we use. Prepare to spend a small fortune. Our appliances in our remodel are more than I ever expected to pay.
  19. Kick itā€™s ass. One of my partners son went through treatments for leukemia. It was a long road but heā€™s doing extremely well now.
  20. Ballast, they are working on dialing in their wake surfing wake.
  21. Hasnā€™t rained but 1-2 times since the end of May here, now we need 3 days with no rain to seal everything according to the tile guy this morning. Next 10 days, rain projected 5 out of 10 of those days. Doubt it rains a drop.
  22. What are the odds, lose 3 of 4 closers (2.5 really since Philly was a timeshare) on trade deadline day. That really fucked my limited chances on making some progress.
  23. Just for the record both of those options suck.
  24. If my tile gets sealed this week as planned, furniture can go in and weā€™re done. TV, hotspot, and mantle all should go in this week also.
  25. Either/or questions apparently canā€™t be taught to my wife. Even after 20+ years of me trying, she still canā€™t grasp the concept. Do you want me to put this in the kitchen or living room? Answer:Yes. Do you want pizza or something from home for supper? Answer: No. Am I picking the kids up or are you? Answer: Yes. Iā€™ve had to retrain my brain to remember that she is answering the ā€œorā€ part with no regard for the first choice. She apparently only processes the last thing heard which doesnā€™t surprise me. It annoys me to the point of trying not to even ask the question that way, but one still slips out occasionally.
