  1. A consensus on firing Herman by the decision makers is conditional at the moment. That condition has not been met so Herman is still the coach. Herman will continue to function in his job until either the condition has been met or consensus is reached without the conditional (either retaining or firing). I don't think it's that complicated and Herman conducting this press conference is fine if not emotionally gratifying.
  2. I'm trying to enjoy this thread. Why do you have to bring me up?
  3. If we going the win at any and all costs route like Meyer but can't get him you may as well bring the ethically challenged cheater at Oregon. Personally I'd rather hire someone likable and honest like Harsin who may not have any more success than Herman but at least won't be an asshole to every stakeholder in the program and university everyday.
  4. https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/texas-latino-republicans/2020/11/09/17a15422-1f92-11eb-ba21-f2f001f0554b_story.html Good read on Republican resurgence in the Valley. As someone who used to travel there for work a decade ago frequently but hasn't been back since it's an eye opening account. This is not the area I saw when I was there. If this continues we'll never have a chance to turn blue.
  5. Or let's have some ambition and make #SECede trending. All those idiots will eat it up hook line and sinker. But, yes, keep Louisiana.
  6. As a lifelong Flyers fan, welcome to the magic of Gritty. We fell in love with him from the day he was unveiled.
  7. But what happens when you get a competent R version of Trump with the same philosophies (Tom Cotton?) who has a clear and direct plan to weaponize the R aligned judiciary?
  8. So DeJoy is going to have to figure out a way "hide" ballots for an entire week in NC. That should be interesting.
  9. Fox won't be the first to call Nevada. Others will, Fox will wait for AZ to get buttoned down a bit more first.
  10. Right, but Trump has a good shot of keeping his GA lead and that will probably be going to a recount. Biden is going to indisputably win PA.
  11. PA doesn't give a fuck. They are counting and will make Biden President Elect tonight if the other states are pussyfooting around with their counts.
  12. If USPS fuckery resulted in 150k mail ballots being tossed in GA, Ossoff might have had a legit shot to be ahead of Perdue but still shy of 50%. It does portend a very tight special election that will hinge on turnout. Dems don't usually step up to the situation but money pouring in will be crazy and Abrams' machine hopefully gives them a chance. Having a Black candidate in the other Senate special election is also a boon to Ossoff.
  13. Registered Voters - 8,127,804 voters Election Results - 5,508,749 votes Turnout - 68% Links are directly from the State's website.
  14. There was a Vice News article posted in this thread earlier about some strange numbers for first time voters in the south Texas. Something like them breaking for Trump consistently above 80%. I've been meaning to go down the rabbit hole on that but will have to wait until things quiet down electorally.
  15. Fucking math. 7k. But that's only 70% to Biden. That's the floor based on other mail return the past day.
  16. Savannah still has 17000. That's 12k net to Biden at least. He's probably going to do it.
  17. It'll be Cotton vs. Don Jr for the nomination in 2024. If Trump is not in jail and still alive in 2 years to put his base into a froth it'll be Jr.
  18. In Wisconsin, do you think Trump's law and order messaging created shy Trumper's late in the game because of the violence and protests in their backyards and in turn made the polling off even more than the rest of the country? I've still been thinking about what happened there. I think it's probably the last time they'll vote D in a long time though as it seems to be trending red and near, if not past the tipping point. Only because of the orange buffoon's covid gameplan destroying the olds there did it go Dem this cycle.
  19. Not only the presidential race, but maybe more importantly almost stole a senate seat by preventing a run off. Thankfully Perdue will probably fall short of 50%.
