  1. I mean, I agree that Wisner is replaceable, but there is absolutely no reason to cherry pick "against non-rivals". "If you take out all of his best performances against the teams we hate the most, he wasn't good" is a dumbass sentiment.
  2. It does feel like Riley Dodge didn’t catch a ton of flack for losing as a favorite. He had a lot of high profile losses that they were expected to win, including this year.
  3. I think you can fully understand why this happened and still be a little bummed about it. We had to upgrade the RB spot and if Wisner wasn’t okay with that then both parties needed to move on. But as a fan, it does feel like you can’t really have favorite scrappy types anymore. Once an underdog like Wisner (he was an afterthought in his recruiting class), gets a bigger profile, this ending seems almost inevitable. As for the rules, the only thing I want more regulated are these agents. Some of these guys are morons.
  4. Riley Dodge is leaving Southlake for a job at SMU.
  5. Troy Omiere is also on that UNLV team.
  6. What happened with Carlton? We just started finally getting people back, hope it’s nothing serious.
  7. Final: DeSoto 55 CE King 27. DeSoto took their foot off the gas in the second half, probably could've scored 70 again, like they did a few years ago, if they wanted to. Dallas wins the series 2-1 against Houston today. Congrats to all the champs this week.
  8. Oh no, not like that CE King. DeSoto pick 6, 94 yard TD return by the DB. Now 48-21 DeSoto.
  9. King finally gets a stop and they can actually get back in it if they score to end the half.
  10. This game is going to end with a basketball score.
  11. Its on Victory+ app and its free.
  12. King's offense has woken up, but the defense cant get a stop.
  13. 27-0 DeSoto at the end of 1. Good thing for all you Houston peeps that North Shore held on in the second game of the night. This game would've just been a 3 hour Dallas celebration had they not.
  14. People love to hate Claude Mathis, but his teams come ready at State.
  15. This DeSoto RB is so damn good.
  16. SOC has a legitimate claim to being the best team in the state regardless of division. They dropped 41 on North Shore in a win.
  17. This is their worst championship loss imo. One North Shore won on a miracle hail mary, another the Duncanville star QB blew out his knee in the semifinals. This one was almost all about caching though. Samples is a legend, but this wasn't his finest moment.
  18. What's the Duncanville kicker situation? They were in FG range. Also, if you know for sure you're going for it on 4th down, call a different 3rd down play.
  19. North Shore gets the stop on 4th down. They deserved to win. Duncanville did not play well at all.
  20. Good Lord, what was that?
  21. Duncanville went right down the field on their first drive of the game, but threw an interception. They haven't done a damn thing since. North Shore's defense completely shutting them down.
  22. Halftime and its still 0-0. This is the type of game North Shore should want though. They're not as explosive offensively, don't want to get in a shootout with Duncanville. An ugly game like this favors them imo.
  23. It's final, SOC is back to the mountain top, win 35-19. This was SOC's best team imo, remember they beat North Shore in the regular season by 10, and only lost to Duncanville by 7. Didn't give up a single point in district play, and Randle's 19 is the most they gave up in the postseason.
