  1. DeSoto doesn’t even have 6A numbers anymore, so I don’t know what you want them to do. Building another high school there makes no sense. And until very recently, Katy High just funneled all the best players in the area to themselves anyways.
  2. Almost all of the games stunk. Championship week can build momentum if the games are good, you’re more likely to bring in more people who come on a whim. But the games were terrible. Attendance was better last year and it was mostly the same teams as this year. That tells you it was about the quality of the games.
  3. Final for anyone who still cares about this terrible game: DeSoto 74 Summer Creek 14. Some interesting notes in an uninteresting game: DeSoto has a freshman WR who caught a TD and he was wearing a Texas Longhorn bandana. Maybe something to keep an eye on down the road. Tre Wisner’s little brother blocked two punts. That’s all I got.
  4. Helo, you went 8-4.
  5. This is a referendum on regions 3 and 4 in 6AD2. This has been DeSoto’s easiest game all postseason.
  6. DeSoto could easily score 100 if they wanted to tonight.
  7. I thought you died* , * of shame.
  8. This game could get ugly fast.
  9. The DeSoto RB has offers from everyone.
  10. 49–33 Duncanville
  11. Duncanville probably should’ve punted. North Shore still with a shred of life. Edit: Aaaaaaand nevermind, NS fumbles.
  12. It’s jarring to see a North Shore defense get dominated like this.
  13. This made me feel a lot better about it. It was probably holding not DPI, but it doesn’t really matter because they were in the red zone anyway.
  14. I get why people don’t like it, but that’s getting flagged every time in modern football today. Leading with the helmet.
  15. This does not call for a review, just wasting our time now.
  16. So many flags. Most of them on Simmons.
  17. #11 is also committed to us. Alex January, a DT.
  18. North Shore just has no answers for Durham and this Duncanville offense. It’s less fun for the rest of us, but @Helobious is having a decent week with his picks 😂
  19. Or he just has eyes. Did you actually watch the play? It was a terrible call.
  20. Congrats to PNG, but the refs made this a deeply unsatisfying game.
  21. Unless there was something off camera, SOC got screwed.
  22. That’s a bad call
  23. And HP gets their ass kicked in the second or third round every year they move up to 6A, different teams breed different results. Aledo just out-talents teams in 5AD1 imo. They don't have the same infrastructure the teams you mentioned have. Watched them lose to SOC two years ago and Cedar Hill the year before that. Those were teams that had the talent to match up. There’s much more of that talent in the 6A playoffs. I’m not saying they’d stink, they’d still be a good 6A team, they just wouldn’t be a dynasty anymore.
